We flew from Utah to Orlando in May with my 3 year old and 23 month old. It's a 5 hour flight and it was rough on my mental stability lol. The kids did really really well, but omg flying with toddlers is no joke trying to entertain them and keep them quiet! Having a lap toddler makes it even harder. Props to you, mama!!

My favorite part of flying to Florida is walking out of the airport doors and smelling the Florida air. I'm glad it went well for you guys! Enjoy your family time.

Girl, honestly if anyone ever actually complained about your kids or any kids that is that are upset and crying because they are scared or unsure of what's really going on or whatever it maybe but everyone should understand kids will be kids and all kids scream and cry. That's life. I'm so happy that you made it to Miami safe and sound and I hope you enjoy your time with your family. The kids being so excited to visit family and see mini and poppa was so cute.

The first time I flew, I did it alone with my 7 month old and I had awful anxiety still. But it was amazingly easy. If anyone is traveling with a baby soon, since I did good- you will do great! 🥰

Haha really same for me. Traveled alone with my 6 months old towards my parents and then back home when he was 10 months old, again by myself while also having to transfer planes 😬. To say my whole body was sore is an understatement the next day haha.

Me and the hubby flew for the firs time with our 3yr old who is autistic. And who also never wore a mask. Arizona to Virginia, Two 4hr flights with a 6hr lay over. My anxiety level was so high. We flew the red eye and the last hour and a half my son cried and screamed 🙃 But after that it went surprisingly well! Our carry on had nothing but snacks, some new toys and the tablet helped a lot.

Worth every penny & the handles are still high enough for my husband and I to reach vs other umbrella strollers

Man, some memories, i remember flying for the first time with my toddler, overall it was a good experience, we took our car seat with us, so we made mental notes of things we should take for future flights, but overall, the our first flight experience wasnt bad. I was super happy i was flying with my husband and in laws, so when my son would get fussy, we passed him around haha

Our last flight was the beginning of March 2020. Our kids were 18 months, 4 and 6. Our older kids were great, no issues at all but an 18 month old 😬😳 she was very wiggly. I would prefer flying with a baby or a preschooler for sure! But we did it. We had two flights. One was about 2 hours and the second was 3.5-4.

Great vid beg to end even house to house Enjoyed the steps from check in to boarding takeoff flight landing snacks activities thumbs up all the way up
You should get Tsa pre since your hubby gets special he could have taken one child if it was tsa pre
And the stroller not learning to close it that is real life things that can happen. Can’t remember everything
Also I take vid and picture of where we park the car

    • @lexic8511

You can do it!! I did a flight with my son when he was 14 months old by myself! We flew into LAX, and I tried to have as little on my person as possible. I took one big checked bag for both of us, my grandma had a car seat there already, and she bought a box of diapers for the week. So all I had to worry about was the diaper bag, stroller and baby of course lol.

    • @lexic8511
      @lexic8511 3 ปีที่แล้ว

Also, my son walked super early and hated being contained. 😅 and he did so good. At the airport while waiting for the plane I let him try to run out as much energy as possible. I had lots of snacks on hand and juice for take off and landing to help his ears adjust. He ended up sleeping the majority of both flights! And don’t be afraid to take help from fellow passengers. I had one lady who helped me tremendously on our flight back, she was so sweet.

@@lexic8511 thank you so much! My son is 19 months old and he’s been running since he was 10 months 😅 luckily VA to Miami is only 2 hours so I think if I just load up the tablet with his favorite Disney movies, we’ll be ok. 🙈

I have to fly back home to Florida from Dublin at least once a year for the last ten years so used to flying. This last time though my flight anxiety was so bad! I was a nervous wreck on the flight going there and coming back then a week later had a trip out to Italy and had super bad anxiety on the plane again. Think I’m going to need Valium the next time! It actually makes my anxiety better to use the bathroom on the plane because it distracts me in a way 🤪 I always try to move around as much as I can

For future flight reference- maybe offer whoever is awake gum/ a sucker during landing. I heard it helps with the pressure change (:
How long did you guys visit? I’m planing a trip from OK to OR and I’m unsure if we should shoot for 1 1/2 weeks or 2 1/2 weeks. We’re visiting my dad, stepmom, and young siblings but we don’t FaceTime often (time change and so busy 😭)or visit since we’re across the country :/
I could definitely do an extended stay but don’t want to stress my kiddos

I'm glad my mom is coming to pick me this year haha, got my almost 2 year old which God...I don't even know how I'll entertain on the plane. He's an absolute monster 🤣 the moment he sees he's in airport he will go crazy trying to go everywhere and explore haha. Plus 25 weeks pregnant with second. There was no way I would have travelled alone haha.
Can't wait to see my parents in 2 weeks as well.
I honestly understand how you're feeling when your kids have tantrums and bother others, until I had my own kid I was a bit judgemental as well. After having a kid I understand how hard it is to keep them calm at times. Now whenever I see another parent with a young kid that's going crazy I go near and say hello and ask the kiddo what's up haha. Usually they calm down when others talk to them, also it feels nice to reassure the parents that it's cool 😁
