There have been a few night time parades since the electrical parade but this is only one I feel captures the magic of the original. I hope it comes to Disneyland for the 60th!!!

Disneyland Resort (Original Park and the first Disney Park located in California) Paint the Night Electrical Parade difference of HK Disneyland Resort Paint the Night Parade. -Tinkerbell's Friends (Silvermist, Irredisa (forgot the spelling, and Rosetta) -The Tinkerbell float pulls the Drum float and features the name of the parade titled "Paint the Night Electrical Parade" and some additional animations. -No dancers on Monters Inc Float -Lightning McQueen leads the Cars unit instead of the Speedometer dancers like in HK. -The Little Mermaid Electric Watercolors unit features Nemo and Jellyfish. - The Toy Story Electric Rodeo unit features Jesse and a UFO float behind the Slinky float. -The Candlelight unit which reffered in Disneyland Resort because it does not only include Belle, also Cinderella and Rapunzel unlike the HK its said to be Belle's Candlelight unit. There are also no men ball dancers in the unit it only features 4 lady ball gown. -The Frozen Fractals are the tallest float in the Disneyland Resort version and it features Anna, Elsa, and Olaf. It also has a crystal dancers. -The Mickey and Friends unit does not feature a dancer with a long stick instead the rolling lights in there body with 8 total men dancers are featured. -No show stops which makes much better for the Parade. For me, i vote Disneyland Resort's version. PTNEP premiered for the 60th Diamond Celebration of the Resort. Sorry for my English.
While I would prefer something a bit more classic Disney looking, this parade is PERFECT for the Asian market. I would like to see this high energy at Disneyland though for the new nighttime parade. Love the music for this though :)
We need this in Orlando too, to fill the void that Spectromagic left. This parade makes me feel excited again. MSEP is antiquated and it's time for something new.
Watching this a few days ago made me think of the most obvious float for this parade: one for Rapunzel! Think of it - the girl playing Rapunzel could have a fiber-optic wig that would link into the float, and you'd see her hair illuminate like when she used her healing powers. It could be like her and Eugene in a boat on a twinkling sea, with suspended lanterns!
