I am a beginner to woodwork, the main test I have with this bundle th-cam.com/users/postUgkxTNB_zFBSnTo_O1PqfVUwgi7ityw0JlKt is that I think that its hard to settle on a choice of the plan and outline to use as there are a large portion of them there. Nonetheless, I like the simple stride to step directions laid out there.

I could never imagine even in my wildest dreams that engineering and woodworking could be so entertaining to watch. This craftsman is so creative and his videos are always clear and in focus with no music blaring out in the background. The only music needed are the tools singing👍

It sounds cliche but you don't really need all those machines, whit the basics and imagination you can do ✨ anything✨ (almost), no really, there are videos in TH-cam of people doing things like this without so much stuff, just look for it. (English it's not mi native language, sorry)

In general with tools try not to be a dumbass and spend $1,000 because of a Company name or Logo when you can buy a tool of equal quality or possibly better quality for $50.
      Tape measure - $1
      Speed square - $3 -$8
      Marker - $0.50
Sidewinder (leftie) Circular Saw - $20
(instead of miter, also use square for a straight edge)
      Jig Saw - $25
(Could also use this instead of Miter Saw, scroll saw, or Sidewinder (leftie) Circular Saw)
      Caliper - $2-8
(to drawl Semi Circle or string and pen technique if you can do it well enough)
      Drill - $20 (harbor freight)
      Drill Bits - $3-15 (cheapies)
      Wood Chisel - $7 (Walmart 3 pack)
So far that's $61.50 - $104.50 in bare necessities (the simple bear necessities.)
      (Fun one right here 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻)
Flux core mig welder - $140 (Harbor Freight) ($110 - 120 on sale at times)
OR YOU CAN MAKE A DIY WELDER by hooking 3-4 (old but can still hold a charge) car batteries together in a parallel series with a larger gauge wire, hell rebar (without rust) will work alright if you can get it to stay against the terminals correctly then hook up a set of jumper cables to a battery or to the wires/rebar or how ever the guy on the youtube video you're going to be watching about it tells you to do it (you're welcome) then use positive lead to hold your welding rod and use negative to ground what your welding and 💥 BOOM💥 DIY WELDER.
      Jumper Cables - $10
Wires or (anything conductive really) - $20(high balling it)
Batteries - Borrow a couple for a "Jump" or acquire some shady morals and hop the fence at your local recycling center and borrow a couple for 30 minutes. (Option #3 pay local tweeker $30 & a piece of foil for 3 brand new hot off the shelf 12v 1000 CCA batteries from your local autoshop.)
Welding rod - $5-$10 (not sure of the price of a 10 pack anymore)
Welding Hood (Optional) - $35 (H F) or just close your eyes right before you ark it then do it by feel and just stop every couple seconds to make sure you're not blowing holes in your sheet metal.
      Welder price possibilities only
      Welder + Hood = $145 - $175 (+tax, roughly $10 - $17.50)
      so $155 - $192.50
      DIY Welder + Hood = $105
DIY + NO HOOD because you're starting to grow a little hair on your peaches 🍑 (if only that peach emoji was upside down) - $35
I'm not saying those figures are perfect but if you stick with cheaper tools and start comparing prices between places like I listed and other stores like those you can honestly get $129 tools that outlast and/or out preform $500 tools
      Perfect Example👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻
      th-cam.com/video/2MDjgY8Vwgo/w-d-xo.html
Altogether based on my estimates anywhere from $96.50 - $297.
I'm at hardware shops, Harbor Freight, Rural King, Lowes, and a couple of our small town shops usually weekly or biweekly because I have one hell of an obsession with tools.
I'm not an expert on prices (not trying to claim to be) but if you just start looking up cheaper tools & diy tools you can really manage some incredible feats without blowing your cash.

Sorry if I missed it but a tiny change could people like me who have arthritis in the hands but still love to build. On the bolt/nut extending through the flat stock you could make use of store bought plastic knobs on the nut and the hex end of the bolt or some DIY ones like you did with the levers. Cool and useful project! Thanks!

Nice Design, Think about a rod off of Drill vice to prevent spinning if drill bit catches. Lots of design options out there.
Yes, I have had it happen and just a scare. On my list to make one, but just clamp a block on the side of drill table for now.

I don't get it. At the end, you are demonstrating something by tightening something and pointing to something but the screen gets covered up with links to some site and links to other videos. You need to add some extra panning or zooming or longer views so that the overlays show up later and don't obscure the demonstration portion.

If you are referring to the white-inked marker ( 0:21 - 0:39 ), the marker barrel reads "FIT MAPKEP" followed by Russian lettering.
