I noticed there was a lack of Granblue Fantasy guides in English so I thought I'd start recording some. Hope these are helpful!
Today I cover the basics of weapon grids, magna/omega grids and farming your first magna grid.

this video is two years old but as a new player in 2019 this is probably the easiest to understand guide to weapon grids i've ever come across..........bless your soul for this vid

Tysvm for this. I love the game but it didn't explain this stuff well in a way I could understand. And the help that was available on online guides made everything so complicated. I got fed up enough to consider quitting the game if even TH-cam couldn't help me. Thanks again for this. Whatever other help you can give us newbies would be most appreciated because barely anything is covered properly. Like what should you focus on doing as an absolutely weak beginner. What level do you reach before you know you're ready to start grinding for magna weapons? How to handle events? And so on and so forth. It's so easy to get lost.

Thanks for this guide, Jessica. It was simple and very easy to understand. Just a question, is it advisable to fully unbind the weapons in your weapon grid (as long if you the resources)?
and here I was pissing around for a year with half my teams dealing sit for damage despite being rather stacked

Really helpful guide. Any suggestions on where to camp for dark enmity? Celeste's things are all on the lower end it seems.
Thank you so much for your helpful video, I just started playing for about a month and I'm already confused about Ezio's bonus, Gaia, and other skill bonus skill, so your video really helped me out, I thought that all the SSR leviathan I got is trash because I didn't understand the real value of its aura...
One thing that bothers me though, I noticed in the video and in your other video that you picked an attack bonus instead of omega bonus when picking summons before the fight, why didn't you just pick another omega bonus for more power?

Well i'm late in the comment session but one question i've aways had about weapon grids is, when i'm doing an omega/magna grid, i'll use yours as an example, should i pick five uncaped omega swords and after that start uncaping them one by one, or should i get one sword and fully uncap and level it up and then restart the processes with another one?
I never knew which method is the most efficient.

The drop rates in this game just make me want to quit sometimes. I spent something like 400 EP farming Tiamat Omegas and only got 1 Gun. Every single time I get an SSR drop it's always a fucking Tiamat Omega Summon, which I have like 9 copies of now, including a fully upcapped one....very unfriendly in the beginning for sure. Probably need to rely on months of Pendents to get my basic grid set up. I surprise ticketed Korwa and that helped quite a bit, but I'm still unable to 50% any of the Omegas. And this new event is literally impossible for me, since my only Grid is Wind...I can't find the items I need to uncap the Xeno Spear. You top making videos all together or just don't have the time? I really enjoy your videos, they help a shit ton. I almost used my 1 and only Gold Bar uncapping a Tiamat Bolt.....
yea...starting out in the beginning is hard. I, too, started with wind, and gave my soul to the casino for anat.
You need to take advantage of every boost to drop rate avaliable If you want to complete your Grid faster: Hawkeye, journey drops, Kaguya and etc

Skill level for the most part. Think of skill level as a multiplier and weapon level a static increase,

Is there other way to upgrade ssr weapons without duplicate? Im a f2p player and new to the game can some 1 give me tips?
Upgrade ? You mean uncap ? You can use Gold Brick obtainable trough events, or by farming gold nuggets ( 10 golds nuggets = 1 Gold Brick ), you can obtain gold nuggets by tradding into the Shop or it is possible to drop a Gold Brick on nightmare quest, but the chances are very low : 0.1% to drop a Gold Brick.
And the Damascut Ingot from trading moons.
But you shouldn't use the Gold Brick if you get one of them, it's better in my opinion to conserve them for a Guild Wars character.
oh man +1 to that reply. Never, EVER use the gold brick. You can only grind 6 gold bars as of now from the Rise of the Beast event, and you want the gold bricks for the Revenant chars.
Use the damascus ingot instead, but you'd rather use those for premium weps.

Also, any thoughts on the SR/R pendant boosts while farming?
Max both of them, it is easy. When you join other people's Magna raids(leeching), just bring a full R or full SR team using hawkeye with bounty. Always max out your renown pendant.
Also if you are desperate to maximize your pendants per run in omega raids, you have to get to 10k honor to receive maximum pendants(10 for omega).
SR/R pendants are not affected by honor so don't worry about it.
