I love how he carefully teases her hair instead of taking some rotten brush and crazily teases the crap out of it. He does it gently and kindly to the hair and still gets a great result. Very nice.
I totally love it!!! And the way he teased that hair ...so easy and not to damage it...I will try this...Thank you and we wait for more exceptional tutorials like this....
Hi Philip thanks for addressing the lighting. That was my only critique. I think adding the hair demos are wonderful. I love watching these kinds on videos. I particularly enjoy hair tutorials that I can remedial enough for me to do on myself.
Now to the good stuff! I love how he worked around the camera to make sure we could see everything clear. Also the explanations were really nice. He explain every step, wich is nice (since I wouldn't have know the reason behind every step). Overall I really liked the video and Phillip seems really nice.
He is a brilliant artist!! I wish you guys were my friends...I am jealous of all the great things that you guys do together....Phillip is an awesome hairdresser/artist!!! Can't wait to see more from him!!!
really nice hairstyle and easy to follow tutorial, as many others said bit better lighting from the front will make your beautiful work show better :) really well done and i hope to see more!
Yes please more hair stuff but in the manner you dissect makeup do hair. You shoul simplify everything and find products that do the job ! You are a team of fantastic people xoxo
Better lighting from the front and the side needed, but otherwise such a simple yet utterly glam hair tutorial. Instant diva feel! Looking forward to more.
I love his voice for starters! But I also love how well he explains all the steps. I would love to see more of these videos! Without being rude, I would just suggest better lighting also and not a background with too much "distraction". But still loved it. Thank you!
Loved it :) if the lighting can be improved that would be a massive bonus going forward but I love the idea of having hair tutorials on your channel! Also so through and clear to understand! Brilliant :) thanks to you both (and the model of course)
Love your accents & very well explained. I feel like I should be able to run off and do this hair style on anyone that would sit still for long enough which is makes you a natural for doing you-tube. It seems so simple. I like that the model interacts with us as well. Lighting of course, but also a quick intro shot of the tools you are going to use and a close up from all angles at the end would be great improvments. I'm looking forward to your next video.
Loved it. The explanations were clear, made it seem like a very "user friendly" hairdo. I did find it a bit dark. I think that hair tutorials would look a lot better on the new set you now do your makeup tutorials on. But still a great video. Look forward to seeing more
love hair tutorials, always watching them on youtube & im always looking for an up-do to do. really liked this! would love to see more! my only suggestion would be to possibly do a voice over. i dont know whether it was my crappy speakers/deafness but i found it hard to hear what he was saying... :]
Thanks for sharing! It's a good look. You explained all your steps clearly, instructions were easy to follow. Yea better lighting is needed, but no biggie. It seems like everyone's first videos could be better lit.
Good! I agree about the lighting, and maybe being a little more aware of not blocking the camera - I probably noticed that more because I'm so bad at pinning - mine always fall. That seemed to be the times the sleeve would block the camera each time. Thanks for doing this!
Great video! I think you were filming in the sun so that's the reason for the lighting but overall you did great! I'll probably think about doing this look for a special occasion :)
Great video, yes, better lighting would have made it easier to follow but for your first video, it was great:) It would be lovely to see more of Phillip's work, so please do more hair related videos.
i loved the tutorial! Wayne, maybe in the future you can bring him home and do a "whole look series" inspired by celebrities or movies.. He can do the hair and you do the makeup! it would be super cool :)
Really pretty! I like the "not so contrived" look. I'm assuming those "grips" you used are what I call bobby pins? For some reason, I'm not good at using them unless I'm simply pulling a small bit of hair back. Maybe you can show us how you get them to secure a lot of hair like you did here? I try, and my technique is not good, it never holds securely.
I love how he carefully teases her hair instead of taking some rotten brush and crazily teases the crap out of it. He does it gently and kindly to the hair and still gets a great result. Very nice.
Really nice tutorial, and pleasant outcome. He did a lovely job on the hair. More to come, I hope.
How refreshing to see a hairdresser doing and explaining thank you Wayne for adding this awesome xo
Phillip is lovely & he did an excellent job explaining what he was doing and why. Great job! Would love to see more.
I'd love to see more from him! I love the sound of his voice, it is very easy to listen to!
Love it! I'm always looking for styles that put my hair up and out of the way that don't look so rigid or 50s. This is perfect! Thank you!
I love it Wayne!!! You and Phillip as a team are UNSTOPPABLE!!!
What a great tutorial! Very straightforward, much like your makeup tutorials. I would love to see more of these. Thank you!
Just did this on my hair and did a very basic pin-up makeup... SO fast and easy, but very glam too.. I feel fab this Friday! :) Thanks! x
Love this! He made it look super simple and now I'm gonna try it, thanks Wayne!
Great tutorial Phillip. You are very talented. Would like to see others. Thank you Wayne for introducing him to us.
Now to the good stuff! I love how he worked around the camera to make sure we could see everything clear. Also the explanations were really nice. He explain every step, wich is nice (since I wouldn't have know the reason behind every step). Overall I really liked the video and Phillip seems really nice.
Loving the hair tutorials I'd love to see makeover videos of makeup and hair together
He is a brilliant artist!! I wish you guys were my friends...I am jealous of all the great things that you guys do together....Phillip is an awesome hairdresser/artist!!! Can't wait to see more from him!!!

Super tutorial, a little more light needed though. I LOVE this look! Thanks Phillip!
Can't wait to see more! Its nice to see someone working on a model and not on themselves.
Yes please more hair stuff but in the manner you dissect makeup do hair. You shoul simplify everything and find products that do the job ! You are a team of fantastic people xoxo

Love Adele and her iconic do. Great video :)
Better lighting from the front and the side needed, but otherwise such a simple yet utterly glam hair tutorial. Instant diva feel! Looking forward to more.
Welcome Philip! This is amazing! waiting for more videos like this :)
Would love to see more from him! He's excellent! A bit brighter lights would be helpful. Looking forward to more!
I want to watch this again when my hair is longer. You make it look easy!
I love his voice for starters! But I also love how well he explains all the steps. I would love to see more of these videos! Without being rude, I would just suggest better lighting also and not a background with too much "distraction". But still loved it. Thank you!
He's sweet I can see you two quickly becoming a powerhouse duo! More lighting would definitely help. Other than that Philip you did a great job!
UMMM...HELLO?!?!? Phillip ROCKS and Sarah is BEAUTIFUL!!! Thanks to you all for a job well done and for sharing!!!
Loved it :) if the lighting can be improved that would be a massive bonus going forward but I love the idea of having hair tutorials on your channel! Also so through and clear to understand! Brilliant :) thanks to you both (and the model of course)
Loved this! I'm trying this style tomorrow!
awwww how cute is he?? I'll have to try this tutorial now cause it looks so nice,!

Ouah! Super tutorial ! J'adore Philip! ❤
oh dear me. We used to do our hair this way in the 60's.
dear me. Adele's hair is not something I would copy. oh gosh.
but I loved, loved his accent.
Thanks for sharing! It's a good look. You explained all your steps clearly, instructions were easy to follow. Yea better lighting is needed, but no biggie. It seems like everyone's first videos could be better lit.

Thank you, this is a great idea and good addition. I hope you'll do more videos.
I love the look and the small messy bits that are left. "Not contrived".
I get cut and highlights regularly but I've never had my hair styled like that, would be fun for a fancy night out.
Oops, also better lighting as most have suggested and a nice close up shot of the back , more please!!
Great video, yes, better lighting would have made it easier to follow but for your first video, it was great:)
It would be lovely to see more of Phillip's work, so please do more hair related videos.
i loved the tutorial!

You're adorable, Phillip. Keep them, coming!
Philip was lovely! Great job!
This was great! Defiantly going to give it a go myself!
Really great first try! I think the hair needs a lot more height but still a great do!
loved the vid, more pls!! how about some wayne style technical stuff so we can be enlightened with the knowledge that wayne has given us on make-up?x
Good job. You have a very nice video manner. Need some lighting adjustment but you seem to be a natural! More please.
Great 1st tutorial I know you'll get better with practice looking forward to more good luck x
Thanks Phillip & Wayne :) Really enjoyed it.
Love the hair style! Want to see more of Philip! But with better lighting...
Very well explained. Kinda wish my hair was longer now to try that... Luckily my hair grows pretty fast.
Like Mandy, I already love Philip =) he must film more videos!! Such a great and beautiful do, must try it out!!
Great tutorial! Have been working for a year to let my hair grow and it is getting long enough to have some fun with it. Plea
Oh this was awesome and he is so charming....love this!
Great video- seems to be quite the natural. Great video.
Great first video! Would like to see more. Instructions were clear, and I may actually be able to achieve this look. Need more light though.
Nice please do a video on how to get volumes when straighten your hair without looking so flat at the root
Agree about the lighting but think you are a natural in front of the camera, look forward to more!
Hello from Greece Phillip and Sarah! Great tutorial.
Such perfect timing, more videos please love
The model's hair is so smooth and silky
Really pretty! I like the "not so contrived" look.
