I feel like you and I have similar tastes. I haven't seen your videos before so I noticed that you use nice presentation clips of games in progress as you're talking and I think that's helpful for me. No need to focus on the person talking about a game, which is what I'm used to seeing. Better to show what it is you're talking about, I think. But if I'm correct and our tastes are similar, I would suggest Vale of Eternity, if you haven't played it. I think we had, like, five crossovers on our top 10s. VoE was a big surprise for me this year. Windmill Valley is one where I'm just not sure if I'm going to like it, or at least, will it have the replay value to keep me playing it a year after.
Thanks for the recommendation. I have seen it, but maybe I’ll try renting it. I too, could never understand people just talking about games. I’m a person who needs to actually see a game to understand. So I try to make videos I want to watch.
Harmonies and Fromage are also in my top 10. Windmill Valley, Wild Gardens, Wyrmspan, and Wondrous Creatures (so many W games!) are all on my shelf to be played. Various things, mainly moving, threw off our gaming routine in 2024, but I'm focused on getting everything unplayed to the table soon.
Thank you so much for including Rock Hard: 1977 on your list! Honored to be on any list with all these other wonderful games.

Good list! I really like Windmill Valley and Wondrous Creatures. I’ve always wondered if I would enjoy Botany.
Botany is such a pretty game. I’ve made a video so you can learn more about it. The link is in the description.

Totally understand. I still need to play Daitoshi and Civilution. That’s why they weren’t on the list.
I prefer Harmonies solo as well. And wow, what a game. I was surprised at just how much I love it.
