Well, I don't understand why many people here accuse Yuzuru of being gay, girlish, campy, effeminate and such. The pictures and video sections of this compilation are at least three years old, most of them are even older. At that time, Yuzu was still a kid having fun, participating in more than 60 ice shows for training because his ice rink was destroyed due to the great tsunami and earthquake in 2011.
Just look at him now! He is a handsome and sensible young man, pushing the sports to completely new dimensions! He's won so many titles and breaks one world record after another! Yuzuru is a legend now and deserves to be treated with respect!

Just in case some of the fans failed to catch his words during Sochi, let me share that he was incredibly matured soul, which quality has amazed all the male interviewers (straight ones) as Yuzuru actually chose much wiser/considerate words than any of the much older professional anchormen. Hanyu says he feel responsible to inspire the tsunami victims of 3/11 as he is one of them who had been deprived of practicing opportunities for some time ʕ•̫͡•ʔʕ•̫͡•ʔ

I do not know are different countries, different cultures. Anyway he's only 19 years old .I think just needs mature.
