武学館では、古流は形意和真流唐手道のことです。形意和真流徒手術とも言うことがあります。古流には、定まった手順と規定の形があります。それは、原則として変えてはなりません。武学館では、伝統の形を大切にします。その意味を知り、使い方を考える稽古を続けることで、大切な形を後世に残していきます。
In Bugakukan, KoRyu is Kei-yi-wa-sin-ryu-Karatedo. This is sometimes referred to as Kei-yi-wa-sin-ryu-Toshuzyutu. KoRyu has procedures and forms. That, in principle, cannot be changed. At Bugakukan, we value traditional forms. I would like to pass on important forms to future generations by continuing to practice knowing the meaning and thinking about how to use them.

子供たちは、まだ体が未熟なので、実際に武術の技を使う筋力も体力も不十分ですが、技の意味を学ぶことや稽古の目的を知ることは大切だと思います。楽しくという条件が必要ですが。Children are still immature, so they don't have enough muscle strength or physical strength to actually use martial arts techniques, but I think it's important to learn the meaning of the techniques and know the purpose of the practice. It needs to be fun, though.
