I can't imagine Bismark letting Germany grow this close to Britain and France if it meant making the empire more liberal, same for Wilhelm I. And Wilhelm II would never accept an alliance unless Edward VII didn't go out of his way to antagonize him, which he wouldn't. The German Empire would have begrudgingly grown closer to Russia via Austria.
Edward VII was enjoying himself too much in Paris, but his Government was more interested in an Anglo-German Alliance.

Cool video though I think there was a misspoken part about 1min in where you say all slavs are orthodox which of course isnt true with people like the poles being primarily catholic and bosnians having large if not majority Muslim followers.
I think he was just explaining the panslavist view of Russia which has always attempted to impose Russian Orthodoxy upon their Catholic Polish and Ukrainian subjects. So in the eyes of the Russian Imperialists attached to Panslavism all Slavs *were* Orthodox or at least would be soon
Okay with the longer format, but feels like Austria would have demanded more, such as their Polish Buffer State, to let Russian Friendly rebellions happen on their Balkans Border.

No disrespect meant here but the map is inaccurate with the Austria-Prussian-Russian borders. Either a good chunk of Silesia has been put into Poland or Galicia or the shape is off. Prussia is also missing Memel. Again, no offense meant!
I think it’s just his simplified aesthetic tbh, because all the borders look kind of geometric

Poland,Slovakia, Czechia, sorbs, Croats, Macedonians, and Bosnians weren’t Orthodox.
Macedonia ecclesisastically belongs to Constantinople since Constantine V (VIII century) and much of Bosnia is orthodox since 13th century, more so after ottoman conquest (it was easier for catholics to emmigrate).
Then what were macedonians?

@@lunalingo4461 Well this one, just seems somewhat unrealistic that Austria doesn't demand their Polish buffer state as part of keeping the balance, given letting rebellions that create likely pro-Russian states happen is effectively the same bad situation for Austria as Russia taking it directly.
