To be fair, Portugal only won 1 game within 90 minutes in the tournament. They didn't win all of their group games. Given the fact Euro 2016 is the first Euro to feature 24 teams and the best 3rd place rule, it's still a great achievement.

@@PEPE_A I was talking about the Greek National team, and no, Greek national team was worse than Portugal, they had Figo, Rui Costa, Pauleta, Ricardo Calvalho, Deco and more, so not even close, Charisteas was good but nothing compared to the levels of those Players, the same with Giannakopoulos, Zagorakis, Basinas and Karagounis, good players too but nothing out of the ordinary, not exception players, even the video stated that they had to trust each other to win because of the lack of quality compared to more popular national teams, Greece in 2004 was the worst and most underdog team to ever win a euro in the history when it comes to quality of players (in still talking about the national teams)
@@IonPumpkin2002 The Greek national team had 8/11 of the players playing in Panathinaikos (18th team of europe). Most of the team were playing cl every year and had arleady faced/win most of the players you mentioned me in the knockouts. Haristeas wasnt a good player in general, he wasnt even in the top 10 of the Greek players back then, but he was used perfeclty as a target man in the turnament. But I guess cl knockout players are shit if you say so.
You need to understand that there is football below the 4 top leagues as well. A XI with players playing the best team of the 6th league in europe is good enough to do well in a knockout turnament, we had a good manager and some luck as well and we won it.
I find funny the way you thing, beacause most people today find Portugal as favourites to win the euro even thought most of their players play in Porto,Benfica and Sporting.
