"LIKE IT"..!! NOOO MAN... "I LOVE IT"... And it really makes Me MISS My own XX.. Leo Vince. and full Carbon.. Making it Yellow and Carbon Black.. (I had to sell it cos of health issues.. And I couldn't ride it any more..) But, mine did 330 with just a few mod's.. It was a Busa Killer.. But, Honda is so much better anyway, so that was just right...

@@mototop_ I'm sorry.. We didn't do vid's in those days.. And after I had to sell it, I didn't even wanna think abot it.. It hurt to much... But, the power didn't improve that much actuall.. We removed the mirrors, that helped a lot on the top speed.. But it was just around 200.. 198hph I think.. It was a long time ago.. Sry..
I like this... Crazy fast but also much safer riding practice than lot of others out there. Follows lane etiquette and pays consideration to others switching lane ahead of time. But still makes me shake! Kudos.

I've got a bird 2002 model with a high flow airfilter and Sebring cans. Power Commander 6 and a dyno-tune. 19-42 sprockets. Top speed above 310km/h. Still have to go to Germany for a topspeed run. It has 152hp rear wheel and 122 nm torque. And as smooth as a sewing machine❤ Love it. Even though i've got a Kawa h2-sxse also i will hang on to my Honda for sure!
have you measured your 310km/h per GPS?
@@mototop_ no, my tuner told me he couldn't measure exactly what the top speed was because his dyno only measured till 310km/h . He told me he still had some throttle left. But that is inside on a dyno without windresistance. I still have to change the ball bearings in the front and back an i want to put on new tires before i go to Germany for a top speed run. I'll take my TomTom with me for an accurate gps speed. At 299 on the speedo it actually is 280km/h. So the speedo is optimistic😂
@@nicoswesterop8800 the speedo of my XX is lying even more :D about 25 at Topspeed ;)
correction- went to the tt in assen today. found out my speedo is now a little negative. I though i drove 100 km/h but it was actually 107 (gps) so my speedo does need a speedo healer. I use Waze on my phone because it warns me for speed cameras and trajectory control. I can also see my gps speed in real time.
@@mototop_ my speed is f#cked up beecause of the sprocket changes i made from 17 front to 19 and from 44 rear to 42. So less accelleration but higher top speed.
I I have a 1998 I live in the states it's kind of hard to find a long empty road but when when I did I seen 170 and still had a little left.. I just ran out of road. they are super smooth and fast . the only mods are K+N filter shorty Cauffman exhaust and 12 inch extended swingarm Thats how I bought it. I think it, is Best Bike hands down

Glass smooth European roads help. Try that in the 🇬🇧 and it's like being off road.

still one of the fastest bikes in the world..and honda stopped production in 2007...witch happens to be the year on the one i have..had it for 7 years,and now and then an urge for something newer comes..the closest thing is the zzr1400-but i think i'll just keep my BB , my hope is that honda will make a new version of it some day
yeah, it's a really great bike :) I love it.
zzr14 is ok if you like the bug eye look ... and the busa is just plain ugly ... i will stick with the `bird :-)

yup , decided to give my one an "italian tune" once ... 104 mph in second , over 130mph in third , then i bottled it !!!!! .... blackbirds are fast !!!

@@mototop_ an italian tune is when you dont use the bike for a while , so you thrash it for a little while to clear the pipes :-)

I recently had the opportunity to choose between the Blackbird and an NC700, after taking the Blackbird same colour as yours for a spin, I returned the bike back to its owner with hands trembling saying, "not today mate!"
I kind of regret it though.

NOOOO speed limit at German Autobahn in general :) But we have some speed limits when it's a lot of traffic, depending on weather situation, when you have tight corners etc.

Let the 929 RR you mentioned see 100,000 km without opening the engine cover, then I tell you that you are right ... But I can very clearly say that XX is an unrivaled male lion ... It takes courage to fight him ...
@@NINJA-ql5yg the CBR1100XX engine is really designed on base of the CBR929RR engine. Just search for it ;) Nearly all Honda engines are very reliable. Also from the CBR600F
