THANK YOU for this. I have some ornate work in Aviary here. And I was like, I don't want to use gel pens or anything like that. I wanted it to stand out but not too much AND I am using my Holbeins. So this color combo is perfect. NOT quite gold but NOT quite brown was exactly what I was looking for!
I copy all my books rather than coloring directly in them, so I can use whatever paper I like. I love using ivory paper which is similar to the tan. I have a book called, “Small Woodland Creatures “ that comes in ivory, so that gave me the idea. If you go to Office Max, you can buy individual sheets of copy paper for seven cents a sheet, so you can have a whole rainbow of paper choices.

Hi, Coloring Bliss. I was wanting to know what if you don't have those pencils you're using but want to use the same colors. Do you know what colors would be the same but in the Polychromo's Colored Pencils ??
How to I become a free member as I am on a very strict budget. But would love to learn more. As I am not very good at all. I used to color alot, but saw everyone else and became very discouraged.
You don’t actually need a neon pencil to achieve this. Just use a light,medium and dark pencil in the same color(hue) and do a gradient. It will be just as glowing 😊

Also I really like markers. I don’t seem to get a very good effect from colored pencils. But I really did enjoy Johanna Bastford.

Just got the pad of tan paper. Have to pick a picture to copy on it to try.
Just ordered the paper sampler plus extra for each type. I am looking forward to using the tan paper as I have never tried it.
