I was lucky to pick up my half-ounce RP in 2018. It was "only" $798.60 at the time of issue. They are crazy expensive now. I just picked up my 20th and 21st Dos Pesos coins. 21=1oz AGW. I am currently working on my goal of an ounce in Dos y Medios coins. 17=1oz AGW. After a while, there's a whole pile. *TYU*

@@AlohaStacker I put my Dos Pesos coins into capsules, but then removed them and put them all back into one 2" flip. They look better in the flip and take up much less space. I bought the AU/BU coins, so there is no need to protect them in capsules.

I used to have a big collection of Libertad gold proofs. My greatest experience was when I was super lucky to find a intact 2005 gold proof set in its iconic black box - at spot, at the time 11-1200 usd pr ounze. Seller didnt know what he had. I had the set gradet throug Numistacker, and the 1 oz got pf 70 - second coin in its grade. - sold it for big money!

Question: on the Centenario (50 Pesos), what is the distinguishing feature that allows one to tell the difference between the original 1947 strike and the restrikes that also say 1947? Thanks again!
Thank you so much Jay! As far the as the difference, there is nothing on the 50 peso to tell the difference from the 1947 and the restrikes that I know of. Even NGC labels all 1947 coins as restrike as even they have stated there is no way to tell the difference.
Thanks. I've seen PCGS holders that say "New Die Restrike", and they have different PCGS #s for 1947 versus 1947 restrike. But I've never met anyone who could tell the difference. Thanks again for the video!

I've been looking all over for a reverse proof silver Libertad for 2023 and can't find one anywhere, that and a reverse proof 2023 American Silver eagle and can't find the ANYWHERE. Do you know where I can find one of them or where I should be looking if they haven't come out yet?
Thank you TAS! 2023 Libertads have not been released yet. RP's always come out last and towards the end of the year. The RP ASE's come out according to the US Mint schedule which you can look up on their website.

There were 3,500 1989 1/4 oz Platinum Libertads minted. That is the only Libertad ever made in platinum. They are hard to find, and they are crazy expensive. Let me know if you find one.
If you are asking about the silver coin on the stand in the middle it is an 1806 8 Reales minted in Mexico City. It is also full of chop marks which I really like! There were no other gold coins in this video other than the Scrooge gold coin.
