Say what you want about This man. But what an athlete! After so many setbacks year after year after year. And still find the Will and the determination to fight through and to be back winning. You can trash him as much you want. But to come back after so many bad injuries and go for it on the highest level takes something special. It’s true grit! You can be born with gifts and talent but this kind of grit needs to be developed and not everyone is built for it and will never understand what it takes. I don’t understand why some people still say motocross is not an athletic sport.

No matter what people say about Jeffrey Herlings, he remains a special person with a perseverance like I've never seen before! Injury after injury and still coming back to the highest level in a short time is so special to see. An MXGP without Jeffrey is like a swimming pool without water, you're just missing something. Thank you Red Bull for this great series! 👍
Love this BTS stuff. Always fascinating to see how the different disciplines go about a race weekend. Jeff is a machine too, there are few athletes that keep getting up after being knocked down quite like him. Respect!
You now know who among all of worldly Motocross racers is the most dedicated Racer in the world, a man that borrows a friends motorcycle, grabs his Dad and goes to motocross race without his factory motorcycle, truck or gear and still wins the overall race, thats is the definition of commitment and the Love of the Sport, bar all motorcross racers this man is the greatest racer of them all... Yes facts are simply facts.
24:32 we Americans appreciate "the dog" in athletes and this dude definitely has it. Hold fast #84, and may the Good Lord protect you from serious injury. Well done on the content/production Red Bull.
He is the Marc Marquez of motocross, his mentality and dedication is above and beyond anyone elses, on his day he is easily the best and he has suffered major setbacks with injuries.
Great behind the scenes footage, the man is a machine! I wish he could come do the MX National Series in the US. He would definitely be awesome to watch!
Loved this BTS on Herlings. He was very lucky not to have a more serious neck injury. I wish more riders wore neck braces. Too many of my motocross heroes and friends have been paralysed.

Wow to finish the race with a potential broken neck is one tough dude! I would LOVE to see JH come to the USA to race the outdoor nationals. He would be awesome.
Couple Years ago i would have said JH84 was the fastest man on the planet but I believe its now Jett Lawrence. I cant see herlings being faster then he was in 2018, his best days are behind him not saying hes not a top 5 rider because he is when healthy
And? Jeffrey’s comeback is selling tickets and exposure for MXGP. He’s the record holder of most GP wins ever! These vids are like documentaries, check their whole list of videos. They could be filming Prado all season already for a season recap. Stop being jealous when another, record winning, rider gets a comeback vid after such a serious injury/crash…
@@Redlingstein Yes, yes, seasen recap, well, let's see when. Because this is the 4th episode about Herlings this season, and in this season Jorge Prado has already 15 GPs with the red plate and how many episodes he has, I'll tell you 0, only one video about Lommel's GP, a video in which he also appears Herlings.
@@fafh716 The first question for every rider is to stay healthy, it is not Prado's fault that the others get injured, because they were going faster than their talent allowed them
@@ruymxsx7What a goofy thing to say lol. It takes one wrong move or crossrut or lapper etc. to bin it and get hurt. At ANY speed. Everyone knows that. To question the talent of the guys who won 7 of the last 10 championships is insane.
What's unfortunate is we might never see his full speed again. With all of the set backs from injuries i think it has taken its toll on him. Here's hoping for a good season in 2024!
