I agree with what others have been saying about your content. It's really refreshing to see you genuinely enjoying the races, and also being cool and calm even under the most frustrating circumstances. Ive just recently begun iracing myself and absolutely love it. Keep the videos coming! 👍🏽😊
Thanks so much for the feedback. I make the videos because I really enjoy doing it. I always wanted to be a professional racing driver so this is the closest I could get :)
The car rejoining will have got a slow down and for some reason people seem to think that means you have to instantly stop where ever you are unfortunately
LOL, it's always the guys on the grid that say lets have a safe race and a sensible at turn 1 who then try to win the race on the first lap and take everyone else out........
Unlucky mate. I have watched a few of your videos now and I can’t believe how positive and cool headed you are in adversity. Makes for a refreshing watch for sure. Keep up the great work and the irating will come 👍
Thank you, I try to keep things in perspective. I enjoy racing against other people so now and again you have to accept they will do thing you dont expect.......
I really like your videos David, good to see and hear your style. I’ve just started iRacing, I can learn a lot from your races. Thank you for the awesome and positive content!
Thank you so much. I started doing this 4 years ago and i've loved every minute of it, even though at times I dont think anyone was watching my vidoes!
@@pitbitsdave WOW! I didn't realize SimHub had such a great looking overlay! I may need to have a closer look. Thanks, and keep crankin' out the amazing content!
Shame about the first corner spin, at least you didn't collect anyone else. Then the incident with the rejoinder was frustrating for you. As you say, some races just don't go your way.
Some bad luck there, David. Maybe you could have avoided the last crash if you had reacted to the smoke sooner, but that is easy concluded from just watching a video. In the end, an iRating loss of 7 isn't that bad.
I was aware of the car ahead but the one right in front of me slammed his brakes on and I was too close to do anything about them. If I had eased off a bit more I might have avoided it but then I would have dropped too far back to overtake, so either way the result would have been the same, just with less SA loss........
I am noticing that your trailbraking could use some improvements (not an expert) so i would recomend that you wathc this video -> th-cam.com/video/0cX116actow/w-d-xo.html and maybe you too could pick up on a tip or two, for me atleast i went from not quite keeping the track limit, to always keeping the track limit and more consistent speeds. just a friendly tip 🙃

I really like your commentary and how calm you are, really enjoyable to watch
Thank you, I never know if people like it.......I enjoy doing it so I will keep on going regardless :)
@@pitbitsdave I would say that an increase of 200 subs in a week is a good indicator that you are doing some thing right 😊

It did get in the way a bit that's for sure......
"let's get away from the carnage"
Brother, YOU were the carnage 😂

man keep it up, love your style and way of narrating the race. big hugs from Dubai
Thank you, it took some practice at first as I found talking and racing really hard. It's freezing cold where I am, I could do with some Dubai hugs :)

I like your overlay layout. I've never seen one setup that way before. What are you using?
I'm sure David would have answered your question, but he is using Simhub, with some plugins no doubt.
Yes, sim hub and the little screen with the outside view of the race is a replay I record after the race and then add to the video when I edit it

I will give it a look, I had a race today and remembered your comment so tried some trail braking with mixed results :0
