Another very cool video! Some awesome casting skills! Especially those backhanded casts!!! Coming from an old tennis coach, it looks like you could play some good tennis as well! And loved that homemade topwater lure. Very nice. Well done to catch a few. Good luck ahead. Cheers.
Thank you, that tube setup helps out tremendously with skipping. It’s a technique I had to learn after having someone fish behind me and catch fish after fish in an area I had just gone through. They were skipping under bushes and I was just casting to the bank. It really does get a few extra bites. Once upon a time I had a pretty good tennis serve but haven’t played in quite a while haha. Thanks for checking out the video!
You just kept grinding man and had that not been the Bassnation tournament with the different requirements....you would have been right at the top again. You were still able to produce even though the conditions weren't ideal. I once heard someone say "never confuse skill with a bull market". You caught those fish during a bear market...and it was fun to watch.
Thanks brother 😎👊🏼. Days like that are why it’s good to have the camera. When you back away and analyze it in a non tournament way it wasn’t a terrible day. Looking forward to the causeway event in a few weeks. That would should be a test also.
Yea you’re right, I usually take a back paddle stroke after the catch but after taking the photo I end up closer than I need to be often times. That is something I need to be more mindful of especially in tournaments. Thanks for the tip

Thank you! Some days are like that
THE ONE THING I SEE YOU DO IS DRIFT UP IN THE SPOT THAT YOU JUST CAUGHT A BASS. I NEVER DO THAT BECAUSE THERE ARE OFTEN MORE THAN ONE BIG ONE THERE.😉
