Great video! I was wondering about the overpass connecting the hotel over to shibuya Tokyo food show and the shibuya crossing? Is it quite accessible? Traveling with elderly parents and young children in November.

The overpass stair steps from the hotel direction are very gradual (not steep) and there's also narrow ramp in the middle of the steps. So it is not too strenuous on the legs. And there's also elevator if you walk straight a little further, passing family mart and pedestrian crossing.

It seems the hotel just got renovated I think? Because as you can see in my vid the room was pristine and everything looked new (I don't know if this only apply to executive level room).
But 1 thing for sure, the location is unbeatable, only less than 5mins to Shibuya station, Shibuya Sky, and newly opened Sakura Stage. 👍🏻
I sincerely hope you'll have a pleasant stay like I did in your upcoming trip!!! 😆😆😆

My uncle stayed here for whatever reason (told him to book Park Hyatt instead, he didn't listen). I met them in the lobby and walked around the hotel a bit. Saw the room, too. None of what I saw appeared to be 5 stars to me. Maybe (and that's generous) it's 4 Star. Totally overpriced. There is now a brand new Indigo in Shibuya, which is great.

@@jobless_wanderer you stayed recently I’d guess. My visit was in 2019. Just checked the prices and they are still sky high. I’m quite shocked about the size of the room they gave you, it’s even smaller than the one I saw. The problem is if someone wants to stay in Shibuya there haven’t been many options in the upscale segment until recently. Shibuya Excel was ok. Now the Indigo and soon they open a Hyatt House. I think my uncle didnt mind at all. 😅

Yes, I stayed there on July this year. I think after covid restriction lifted Japan (esp. Tokyo) is booming with tourist and that caused the surge in hotel rooms price. 🥲
I think starting this year there will be more options in Shibuya since there are many new building with hotel just finished being built. Can't wait to try to stay on one of those! 😆
And I'm also excited to try new hotels in Shinjuku area too, especially the one in the new Kabukicho tower! 😍
Hopefully you can also travel to Japan again and try new hotels and have nice experience!! Cheers!! 😆😆😆😆😆

I also found it kinda weird, I mean the pool was almost empty all day long, rather than sitting unused why not let hotel guest use it right?
Yes there is cigar bar! but it's not open everyday, you should check with the hotel for their operating schedule.
