    I was on the edge of my seat on that train tussle Lol. Interesting cave hole under the abandoned tracks and interesting water station building too. Thanks for sharing. That was really awesome. 😊

      Thanks so much Alicia 😊😊 that was I believe my 3 time across and it still gives me the chills ! Doesn't help being afraid of heights either.😂 so happy we discovered a whole bunch different things down there like the cars and the concrete structure! Love exploring places like this.       @@thebarefootcountrychick5536 you should definitely do it if you want! I'm so mad it took me this long to get the courage to actually make videos and get in front of the camera! Now I find it so much fun getting to share my adventures and visit all these new places I might never have seen myself! Lol I used to do the abandoned houses and exploring too back in my high school days using my mom over the shoulder video camera😂😂 wish I could find and watch those videos now!!
      And you're in luck! We plan on making one last trip that way this summer! We found some great swimming holes along the way we want to visit and also finish up that trail! And thanks to much Alicia for coming along with jp and myself on this amazing adventure 😊

      @@OutNaturing Oh yes our swimming holes are pretty fun, and very cold 🤣🤣 But right now everything is flooded. Our Falls Park in Greenville is so bad right now. I've never seen it rain so much in all my 30 years of life!! But your right I do need to get back out there and explore some more. I love all your videos and JPs they are pretty amazing. 😊

    Amazing views , I like finding abandoned cars , they have stories to tell , finding the reservoir at night adds mystery to it , loved the night sky too !

      Elna you're making me blush here😊😊 in super lucky to have such awesome places to get out and explore. This location was maybe 20 minutes away from home! Love exploring places like this. Always something new and interesting to find!🥰 stay tuned were coming back to this spot to finish locating the abandoned cart and to swim in the many holes along the way!😊😊

      Lol men I still dont know how muster up the confidence to cross that trestle. I'm afraid of heights myself so I'm in shock every time I cross it. I cant pass it up though the views from the top are incredible! How cool where those tracks just floating in midair look. I loved that too😄 were coming back for sure in the summer. There are great swimming holes in the beginning. And thanks Jennifer for joing jp and myself on that trip out. We definitely were beat after but 100% enjoyed it!

    I loved crossing that trestle when we did this trek. The view is phenomenal. From what I can tell, that abandoned car is a late 60's Lincoln Mark III. Looking forward to exploring this section we didn't get to cover last time. That cavern you guys found, could that have been a water way from coming off the mountain possibly?

      So much fun crossing it with that crew last time!! Had a blast! It never will get old coming to that trestle and taking your 1st steps out to cross! Wait until you see the swimming spots we found on the hike it's going to be awesome to take a dip! Yeah I think that cavern was definitely for water coming down the mountain.

      @@OutNaturing I'm down for that. I want to get back up there again as well. As I had said, the one car appeared to be late 60s Lincoln Mark III and the one with blue paint appears to be a 70's Chevy Nova/Pontiac Ventura. I would love to get back there to check k them out.

Jp and I had a great time getting to search this whole area and we still couldn't finish due to us losing sunlight! But its helping me greatly overcome the heights fear little by little! And yes the trestle in person and the view in person is unbelievable the camera doesn't do any justice for it.     You should walk the old Laurel Line through Avoco and Dupont. It ran through a cut behind my aunt and uncle's house on Highland Ave. in Avoca. The cut is still there.

    Hi Mike! Beautiful scenery. I am still amazed when you guys cross that trestle. I get queasy watching you. Those steel tracks just suspended w/o support cool looking.       hey there marty!😊 it was so beautiful back at these abandoned tracks. we got to explore and see so much. we still have more to go on this section of trail before its finished. i also have another video planned showing the awesome creek and dam leading up to the start of this trip!
      and the trestle still gives me the shakes and ive crossed it a few times now it seems when crossing it goes on forever lol. worth it for the great views tho!

    Another great video! That train trestle is scary but what a great view. That would look amazing in the fall with all the fall colors! Glad you guys didn't have to cross back over it in the dark!!       I agree with you we found lots of cool things to explore back there on the old rail line. I still would have loved to have see the train cart in person lol. But the cars, concrete structures, trestle and hike made it well worth it😀 I still get nervous when I think about crossing that trestle but the views are incredible. Fall looks amazing from there. I hope I can see it in spring or summer with all the green. Thanks again for coming along with me on another fun adventure! Plenty more to come 😊😊

    Wouldn't it be nice to have a house on that water tank base you all found at the end. Extend it out to cover both openings. Has to be a round house or geo-dome one.

      This was great. Jp and I had a fun time with this one. Such a long hike. We went until we ran out of sun lol. I'd definitely set that water tank structure up as a little house for myself would be so cool! We're going to definitely continue on with this in the spring or summer! Lots of swimming holes along the way too.

      Yeah we have tons of miles of abandoned rail around here. We have a lot of mining around here. Most lines were used to move the anthracite from the mines. As for the lines, I want to say Erie rr.

      @@OutNaturing The New York Ontario and Western railway used to run right up that way when through Mayfield, Jermyn, Archbald. There were even some abandoned wrecked Freight cars alongside the highway when I was up there back in 75. They went belly up and all the trackage was ripped up in March of 1957.

      Lol tenlives! That was actually the plan at the start. Luckily JP knew the area and scouted a shortcut in case of us losing light. We took a short cut somewhere at the end the the video that took us back across and closer to the start spot to save walking back a few miles! I agree walking the trestle would have definitely been awesome.

    Great video ! What is that metal thing at the end of the trestle you guys walked over ? Have you ever been to the kinzua bridge in mt jewett pa? The area you were in reminds of that bridge...

      Carolann Tracy When we first moved to PA the trains were still running over the Kinzua Viaduct. Nice little tourist RR. All gone after the tornado in 2003.

    Is that an active track under that trestle? I guess the railroad has to keep an eye on the bridge to inspect it from rotten stuff falling down in the tracks. Thanks for the cool tour.

      i believe there is one active line under the trestle. on top the walkway is all rotted and cant be walked on safely. as for the ties they are for the most part solid there are a few that are starting to rot as well and wouldnt want to step on. overall its a very sturdy bridge. youre very welcome Karl. so glad you came along with us!

      Thanks so much Sharon 😊 crossing that trestle still gives me a chill too! I'm afraid of heights so something like this slowly helps conquer the fear and I continue pass up the gorgeous views you get from the middle looking out both ways. Incredible! Lol yeah we were hiking for a long time on this one and hiked back to the car via flashlights. Felt it would give a good perspective of how long we are out adventuring on these trips 😊 thanks.     Awesome video that train track you were walking next to before you made it to the abandoned train trestle that crosses under the train tracks do trains come through there every day if they do if you are on top of that abandoned train trestle maybe you guys can film some trains going by under that abandoned train trestle and when was this abandoned Railroad train trussle last used and when was last train that went across this trestle and those other abandoned railroads that you guys found when was this abandoned and when was the last train that came through here on these

      Yeah trains run under that abandoned trestle. Im not sure of the schedule at this location but I agree. It would be pretty awesome to see a train from above the tracks on the tall trestle!

      @@OutNaturing there's an old abandoned train trestle in Newark Ohio off raccoon drive and I have always been afraid to walk on it but I stood next to it maybe some of these abandoned railroads maybe they could possibly turn into a bike path I noticed that some of the wooden railings on The trestle was missing

      That would be great to see. They have been converting a few old abandoned rails here to rails to trails. They are wonderful!

    What's the difference in length from this & Jessup. The heights look the same,

      I think this bridge may have been 100ft across if that and maybe 2stories high the jessup trestle is 500ft across and 10 stories high! The jessup trestle is so scary if you saw it in person!

      We didn't find any physical pieces left of the cart unfortunately. Only 2 possible spots that it could have laid to rest before maybe getting scrapped?

    What were those abandoned ruins, buildings st the start of the video and why was that obstacle across the tracks on the trestle. Btw great video!!

      The buildings in the beginning are from the old reservoir there. I actually have a video on my channel filming there and showing those building and area. And for the block in front of the trestle I would imagine to keep atvs and other motorized things off. Long way down

    Not a bad video ...Not a criticism but a suggestion....Do a little research of the history . What railroad ?.....When was the bridge built ?....What was the line used for ? ... Why was the line abandoned ?

      Jessup Trestle 1895. Roaring Brook 1910. Abandoned after extensive damage along the line from Hurricane Agnes 1972.
