People use ASMR for different reasons, but I try to make every video one that you can fall asleep to (you're more than welcome to watch for whatever reason you like though!). I specifically make videos for people who have an overactive mind, adhd, anxiety, insomnia, depression, or are actively stressed. I believe the neurochemicals in all of these mental states look very similar and my style of ASMR aims to bring balance to those neurochemicals. I'm not a neurologist, psychologist, or professional of any medical/science field whatsoever. I just have a lot of experience with stress, anxiety, and adhd so I perceive the world and ASMR through that lens. So, if you like faster asmr with a variety of sounds and triggers in every video, then you should hopefully enjoy these videos... and if you have adhd, anxiety, insomnia, depression, or are actively stressed then I hope you can find relief here.

What is ASMR?
Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) is a term used for an experience characterized by a static-like or tingling sensation on the skin that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine. It has been compared with auditory-tactile synesthesia. ASMR signifies the subjective experience of "low-grade euphoria" characterized by "a combination of positive feelings and a distinct static-like tingling sensation on the skin". It is most commonly triggered by specific acoustic (tapping/brushing/whispering) and visual stimulation (hand movements/lights/etc)

Hey everyone! Most of the comments about the new mics were great, but some people seem to be partial to the blue yeti. I love that mic too and I will still use it in the future. Through trial and error these new mics will sound better too. Hope you enjoy either way!

Marno ASMR if ur gonna blow onto the mic and tap you will have to turn the background tapping lower cos they are less sensitive , but great vid and keep up the good work !
They are RODE NT1a microphones, probably somewhat expensive as its been his goal on patreon the past few months

I fall asleep for a few minutes during a scalp massage and then wake up to you playing with a keyboard. This is okay. Super normal. Always happens when I get a scalp massage.

I'm normally creeped out by roleplay vids because of how fake everything is, but Marno has such a genuine personality that even though this is scripted out to some degree, he still stays real.

When you're just here for the scalp massage but you find out Marno is a super chill and down to earth person 😂
I feel the one thing that really segregates you from other ASMRtists in a way that makes you extremely likeable is that calm, serene, welcoming demeanor that is immensely relaxing in itself and really puts the listener at ease. It also shows how much you like what you're doing and personally that's a comforting reassurance.

Oh dang I remember Fly Honey. You had to beat up a tent for it and then use it to defeat the Master Belch dude to save Saturn Village and Threed. Earthbound was like my childhood tbh
I recently replayed Earthbound and forgot to use the fly honey to defeat master belch and since it's still a "key item" I can't get rid of it. I just used PSI Paralysis and knocked him out slowly, and I forgot fly honey even had a purpose

I hope to someday visit Iceland to see the chess museum, visit Bobby Fischer's grave, and see the Northern Lights along a fjord.
I am not a good, or even OK chess player, but Bobby Fischer is very interesting to me. Iceland flights seem to be much cheaper in Summer tho, I'm guessing because you are less likely to see the northern lights.
a ton of roleplay videos take forever to get to the trigger but not our beloved Marno
Not much into role play ASMR, but you still deliver with relaxing sounds. In regards to your MIC's. I'm a sound guy. In other words I like ASMR with soothing sounds, not so much the visual roleplay stuff. I find both of your MIC's are fine but the new ones can have more high end (treble or sibilance). I like the warmer sound of tapping, finger snapping etc. I'm not into the sounds you get from rubbing the MIC especially on the new MIC's with more treble. There are ASMR artists out there that just do things where they are rubbing or touching MIC's with a lot of high end. Not my personal taste. Marno you still rock great ASMR regardless of the MIC! You've become my favorite ASMR channel and Raphy void replacement.
Loving the sound of the mics, really nice work! The only complaint I have is that you lean more towards speaking into my right ear (your left mic, if I’m correct) and it can unbalance the sound. Other than that, loving the video!!
