What?? They are just choreographers?? I seriously thought they were the real MAEVE artists. They certainly have the looks and charisma and talent for it.

There's simply no way to deliver the immense talent, energy and sass these 4 did. Make it as realistic as you can, but it will never beat this super impressive performance!
I have to agree. The animation for this company hasn’t come far enough to deliver the textures and dynamics in the movement of the dancing, and the charisma and facial expressions that come with real people dancing.
This!! They can’t replicate the stage presence (yet?) which is one of the biggest components of performing as a kpop idol
i get what you mean but the animations you’re referring to aren’t made by an artificial intelligence, there’s professional animators and artists delivering that work as a team and it’s got just as much effort put into it. it’s okay not to prefer it over a dancer’s performance, but don’t discredit it implying it isn’t also an effort made by real people
as tech advances AI will eventually reach this level of emotion. u cant deny that. however now i think mave is already showing amazing capabilites for a virtual group. the avatars are so realistic and move smoothly! but i also agree with you too :)

-Had real people create the choreography
-Had real people sing the song
-Had real people create the models
Yet they still hate on it. Even if it was real, bet they'd still hate something about them
Ikr! For sure the dancers here are amazing & talented, but that doesn't mean people should shit on Mave just for being virtual & have movements not as fluid as real humans even tho it was actually motion captured smh
That's the problem, the movements are jarring and off-putting. The talent behind it is immeasurable, but the CGI concept was just executed badly.

@@ahahaha3587 Imo the cgi was executed brilliantly even if it's not 'real-human' smooth. The concept of making a virtual girl group itself is a first in Korea so ofc not everything will be smooth. The fact that they're the ones who initiated it in Korea is already amazing in itself w/ beutiful graphics and cgi
@@ahahaha3587 The CGI was not executed badly at all. In fact it's more lifelike than K/DA given the textures and details. What really gives away that it's CGI is the stiff facial expressions and the occasional glitches in the dance animation.

2:46 the girl in the center made this part so exciting, her technique is insane!
I feel like their footwork and body rolls just doesn't get captured by the AI. The moves are soooo sharp and articulate here.

MAVE was never meant to be a real group. The group is by Netmarble and one of their members is from a game called Overprime. From the start, they have always been planned to be 3D and Virtual like KDA and TRUE DAMAGE
These are the choreographers; not the actual MAVE members.

노래랑 안무 진짜 최근에 본 것 중에 탑으로 좋음; 심지어 메이브 컨셉도 너무 좋아서... 진짜 이런 기획이 인간 아이돌이 아니라 버추얼 아이돌이라는 게 아까울 정도로 좋다

@@Rinrinarink technically there are real people behind the mave characters. It kinda works the same way a vtuber character or full body vr avatar would work. Since they're virtual, all it'd take is some editing on the actual girls to get their desired results. I'd also doubt that there's a bot behind their singing.

They're professional dancers, and they can't dance and sing like this. It's hard for a real person to do it because it's an artificial intelligence idol that dances the choreography without considering breathing when singing.
Now the era of AI idols has opened.
That choreography is sooooo good. Makes sense that an AI Idol group „performs“ this because it would be extremely challenging to sing while dancing like that

After all these months I still think that this is the best choreo I’ve seen in kpop history. It’s so exhausting, my belly still hurts when I try the moves. These ladies killed it!!!! ❤

I actually prefer this over the mv. The ladies being avatars just takes away the human element from it for me so I find virtual performances cold and lacking.

I don't care how good the avatars are, the choreography is much better here. There's just a disconnect for me when it's a virtual performance. It's missing something for me.
The virtual members are not AI. Everything about them was made by humans (song, music video, 3D models, etc) + their vocals are from human singers. No actual artificial intelligence was used.

The dancer who danced as siu was so good. Her moves are so sharp. The others too. I really liked the way this dancer danced this part: 2:35-2:43 and here,i love this part: 2:46 she can dance so well.

What I like about this group is that the virtual members play the role of idols, but in the songs and choreography there are professional people who show their great talent.

The choreography is insane, their facial expressions, energy and charisma is totally unmatched. It's been a while since I've seen a group like them, Good Music, hella powerful energy, etc. Even the AI members are unmatched. Their Vocals, their dance powers, their visuals, their MV, their song, everything is so unmatched. They deserve a lot more attention, recognition and views then they are already receiving. Totally Unmatched.

Oh my god that's really hard, the tempo and upper & bottom body move at different beat. It must be hard for the CGI team to sample it frame by frame, unless they body track these dancers doing the whole choreo. BIG RESPECT to all crew who involved in MAVE project
I respect the hard work it took to design, choreograph, and render mave, but they don’t hold a candle (dance wise) to these 4.

THIS, is perfection to me. I mean, virtual idols can be very entertaining. I really enjoyed the K/DA music videos and I love their songs for example. But I don't feel the same kind of energy and emotions then when I look at artists like these real, breathing, passionate and incredibly talented girls.
