I love your videos. There is not much else in terms of really useful videos on resolume on the internet. Yes there are the official tutorials and some quick start guides but that's it. Would appreciate some more advanced stuff as well. Like how the pros actually map their controllers, how to do good transitions, making sure everything is in sync with the music and so on.
Awh legend cheers pal! I appreciate the feedback : D ! Oh yes definitely for sure!! I want to be making some more advanced stuff when I get back home post Christmas! -- I've got some hopefully really good stuff planned for ya so stay tuned!!
@@Doctor_Mush nice to hear! VJing ist quite honestly someting that is imo really hard to get into. The software ist expensive and learning materials sparse. Does not help that producing and djing takes up most of my spare time already.
@@amygdalos96 Oh yeah for sure it is! A big reason for starting this channel is to try help make it easier to get into : D I remember when I started and it was all experimentation and trial and error!! I really hope these vidoes wil save you that time so you don't have to go the long way round of learning all this stuff hahahaha I'm all back home from Christmas now, and ready to hit the ground running!!
I agree with most of these, but it would be cool to have a little example of each effect. For example, I never use Stripper and honestly forgot what it looks like. Speaking of which, I've looked all over and can't find a video where all of the effects in Resolume Arena are demonstrated with an example clip. I'm kinda surprised, since I know I'd bookmark something like that, just for reference. You made the most useful MIDI mapping video for Resolume, so maybe you would consider such an undertaking...? Great work, either way.
Yes mate! I do absolutely agree, I very much hope to be upping my game over the next few months and adding in the examples too! Yeah man that actually sounds like a fantastic idea! I'll defintely keep that in mind as a potential idea to do ! I think that does sound like a pretty useful video : ) Thanks for the suggestion pal : D
Yes, very well said my good Chap! I've seen Stripper be used to some great effect before! It's defo not the easiest effect to master however that's for sure ; ) But once you get the hand of effect staking, it's well worth the graft : D
Hahahahahahaha , I too personally advocate for a DIY approach LoL ; ) When the videos get better I'm sureee I'll end up adding some lil improvements, maybe ! Ahhhh Legend no worries man , thanks for your support my gee appreciate it bud ; )

Stripper is heavily underrated if you know how to effectively effect stack
