No worries man! I think I've got some good knowledge to impart, and want to help out the community haha!! : D awesome!! I can't wait to share more about ARC with you all!
Greetings! Fellow VJ & Resolume user here. Cool video, good tip on NDI and the app! Looking forward to more Resolume tutorials. Would love to see videos on laptop/computers for VJing, envelope tutorials, and alternative types of controllers. Thanks for sharing, new subscriber here. Cheers!
Ah noooooo PC for me alllll the way hahahahaha -- tbf some of the macs in the last 2 years or so have looked pretty monsterous, but still at least double the price!!! And then obviosuly I'm stuck with IOS which is enough to make a grown man cry ( although so is Windows tbf, but what can you do hahahaha )
Quick question! I'm trying to add visuals to our shows mainly music videos while we play the song in the video with my band, do you know If this videos can be triggered via MIDI by the sequence software? we are currently using SONAR for all our sequences and distortion changes with our midi pedalboards but we are looking for a software that can co-work or sync with sonar to be able to trigger the video of the song we are playing without having to have someone pushing the button... do you know which software could do this? thanks a ton new sub here! great videos! thx again and hi from Utah
Heyo matey! OOF so I really know very little about DAWs as a Visual man , but I'd say Ableton is probably your best bet; but it'll involve placing down MIDI notes in your Ableton track that are linked into resolume, and then when you start the track on ableton for your in ears, it should start the visual track at the exact same time ! You'll have to wiggle around the MIDI note placement however and get it right --- hope that helps mate, I'm sure there's a cleaner solution;but without using Timecoding stuff your in bodging territory hahahahaha!! : D
Thanks, I'd like to VJ for drum and bass, rock, and Latin American music. Is that possible? I'm going to start with free resources, including your channel. Cheers
Yeah mate we love to see that! A dope range of genres I see you've got in there! Yeah man the best way to do it when starting out is watching all the videos and reading the manual cover to cover ; )
Thanks for doing this channel for all the fellow Resolume users! Not a lot of videos like this out there. Really interested in more info on ARC!
