So, fun fact for anyone who doesn't know: Johnny Bravo Goes to Bollywood was made originally as an 11 minute short directly for Cartoon Network India in 2009. It aired in Hindi and wasn't dubbed for international audiences. It was lengthened to the movie length and aired internationally in 2011. Both were created long after the series had ended. I'm guessing Johnny Bravo was just so popular in India that they decided to make a short for the fans there? okay I understand how the Irish coach attempting to comfort her can seem kind of ridiculous without context, but Bend It Like Beckam was made in 2002, and the coach's comment was made in context of the Irish Troubles-- an Irish person growing up in England anywhere in the 1900s would have likely faced discrimination, maybe especially if someone was growing up in the 1960s-1990s. Something horribly funny from my own family: I have an uncle Paddy-- and calling someone a paddy is a common slur for Irish ppl. Said uncle got into a bar fight over someone calling him his name in the wrong tone lol.
I'm german, so the few shows I watched of these I watched with the german dub, which does not include accents. All of the characters just speak regular german. That's why I didn't perceive most of these as bad, but watching the english dubs of like Fairly odd parents, Phineas&Ferb and Jessie and stuff, I am so weirded out by them having these exaggerated accents. But Sally Bollywood was my life when I was a kid, it was one of the few shows that I could watch consistently and it was so great
As a weeb, I read Black Butler in middle school and they had an Indian prince character named Soma and his best friend-slash-servant Agni (also known as “the right hand of God” which was a sick as hell moniker). The manga takes place in Victorian England and begins much more goofy and light hearted and the writing becomes more grounded and complex as it goes along. I never watched the anime and didn’t finish the manga, but I do remember Agni and Soma being fan favorites. Their introduction arc showed that the author did do a level of research, but it was a Japanese woman writing Indian characters in a manga set in Britain, so I can’t speak to how accurate anything was. The whole manga also has a distinct flavor of 2000s anime cheese that definitely isn’t for everyone and a lot of the manga’s earlier chapters haven’t aged as well, though the author has made strides to correct her earlier mistakes
Interesting. Soma sounds like he is based on the real life The Black Prince, Punjab's last Maharaja Duleep Singh, who was basically kidnapped by the British, separated from his mother, the Maharani, because she was a threat to them, and brought to Queen Victoria's court in England. Queen Victoria and her Prince Consort were said to have been very fond of the young prince and pampered him, but it was still one of The Raj's many, many cruelties. Look him up, he's a very interesting historical figure who lived an incredible life.
10:13 they really put a rising sun flag (its equivalent to n@zi germany flag, japanese imperialism and colonialist era gets overlooked a lot, not to mention they also colonised a part of India..).
I know victorious is a very controversial show and can be really hard to watch, but it is kinda nice that the Token Hot Guy of the show was half Indian. Beck was generally written to be a pretty laidback and chill guy who has some really sweet friendship moments with the other guys in the show. But man. Did they drop the ball with him when it comes to women. Beck is a character who is so used to women throwing themselves at him that he’s apathetic and passive towards it, to the point where it makes his girlfriend insanely insecure and jealous. Man kissed another girl in episode 1 in front of his girlfriend while they were doing an improv scene in class; yes, it was Tori’s idea, but Beck went along with it. Plus, the writers seemed to think it was really funny to 1) make Beck and Jade a toxic, miserable couple and 2) make Beck more of a player as the show went on, to the point where it seemed like he expected for all women to want him But, hey, he wasn’t ever the stereotypical nerd or dork and instead he was known for how attractive and smooth he was. Victorious is one of those shows where I just wanna rescue the characters from it and scrape the awful crud off of em
Thank you come again. Side note, my college tour guide was an Indian American guy named Aaron. I thought his name was just Arun but Americanized but his name was actually Aaron lmao
I literally punched my forehead a couple times of the painful stereotype of a Tech Support call guy in the Cheetah Girls movie. Definitely that movie belongs in Vivek Ramaswamy tier.
I will say for characters like Sanjay, its not so much that an indian is being considered a back up friend, but nerds as a archetype being considered as back up friends. The real stereotype there is that the indian has to be the nerd
I had to laugh at the bottom tier being named Vivek Ramaswamy cuz tbh I forgot that man even existed lmao. I'm not Indian but since I'm from Louisiana, I can assume any tier lower than that would be named "Bobby Jindal". Anyway, I was really interested in your video from before to see the deep dive into Indian rep from the POV of an Indian person and I'm super hype to see the sequel to that rn.
8:38 I've heard of Indians in Guyana with the westernised name but I think that's just a result of British colonialism because my great uncle's father in law actually had the name Hari when he was alive
I honestly loved Raj's character, because while there were some obvious stereotypes, those werent the basis of his character, like others. He had his own strengths and weaknesses, got some great character development (like the marshmallow, swimming, and retainer episodes) and the bond he shares with lazlo and clam is so wholesome.
The 90s johnny quest cartoon is amazing. And also has a living flesh mound that can form into anyone in a single episode as a villain but that's because it was the 90s.
Have you heard of the Rooster Teeth cartoon Camp Camp? The main character Max is Indian displaying no stereotypes as far as I can see (but I'm white, so...). Might be worth looking into, especially as he's a desi child from an abusive household. Maybe in a future video?
Something I think could be brought up in a future video is how some Indian actors would not even have their name credited. I remember a promo for the Last Airbender movie refer to Dev Patel as “The Indian From Slumdog Millionaire.” When listing the Star power. And the same thing happened with Kal Penn.
Thank you for the shoutout! It was so kind. ❤I'm so glad you loved Johnny Bravo Goes to Bollywood!! 😄 Hadji was kind of ahead of his time as well, despite the snake charmer-fication. You should check out the rebooted version of the show, The Real Adventures of Johnny Quest that came out in the mid 90s. Not only did the show SLAP but Hadji became a stud.
Stories of long ended series getting reboots for the countries that adored them always warms my heart. Whether it be Johnny Bravo for India, Voltes V for the Philippines, or Top Cat for Mexico. Before I transitioned I cosplayed as Captain Harlock and a French woman recognized it while referring to me excitedly as Albator (Harlock's name and the titular series in France) Fantastic video btw!💖
I’d love to see you so a review of some of the Indian/south Asian rep in avatar the last airbender/the legend of Korea (the cartoon and possibly the live action series (not the movie we hate the movie, though it might make a good video to point out the racism problem in that)) as I’m so curious if they did it well, considering the whole meshing of cultures thing that’s such a stereotype. Some other characters I can think of off the top of my head that might make a good vid too are prismo from Adventure Time (though it’s not really focused on in his character and more that the VAs happened to be South Asian), Matthew Patel from Scott Pilgrim vs the world and Amerie from Heartbreak High (another Aussie show with surprisingly good Aboriginal rep) 10:12 also yikes I never remembered the Imperial flag of Japan being in the Sally Bollywood show. Also um maybe avoid using mental health terms like “psychotic” to describe morally bankrupt characters as it stigmatises people with psychosis and ASPD
Holy shit you just unearthed some ancient memories for me SMFNSKD. I could practically _hear_ the faint echoes of the theme song in my head. 😆 And to expand further on that: I’m extra taken aback as someone who usually remembers the shows I’ve watched as a kid, including the obscure ones my siblings don’t remember (from _Xi You Ji_ 1999 to _Heimao Jingzhang_ to _Big Comfy Couch_ to _Jimmy Two Shoes_ and beyond), so being reminded of _How to Be Indie_ felt truly like a sudden shock ahaha. Which of course means it’s time to revisit it!
Have enjoyed both these videos, interesting as someone who grew up in so-called Australia and the primary representation that I saw was Sally Bollywood
Kevin.G was a vibe man. Is there any chance you could discuss the character of Max from Camp Camp? He’s the main character, Indian (a lot of people think he’s Mexican) the show is actually an American adult web series, but all the jokes relating to Max’s ethnicity actually made me laugh (as an Indian)
Ok my first impression of the video is I love your makeup! Edit: now I have finished the video, I still love your makeup! And I am subscribing and lowkey going to watch all your other videos too. The aqua colored dress that Aqua wore in cheetah girls three is everything I wished that Naomi Scott would wear in Aladdin yet somehow they absolutely didn't deliver. And my childhood brain was very wise in the fact that it removed any memories of romantic nonsense between anyone other than Aqua and prince who for some reason does tech support on the side... It is the only cheetah girls movie I refuse to rewatch to this day because ot wasn't even that fun in my memories. And you are correct Raven Simone owns our 2000's souls.
Wow I got so many childhood flashbacks when you talked about Sally Bollywood-I didn’t grow up with cable until I was around middle school age so I was at the mercy of PBS kids and Qubo and I remember Sally Bollywood being an absolute favorite of mine growing up. I’m glad to see it still holds up
6:24 Raj sounds a lot like King Julien from Madagascar. King Julien's VA, Sacha Baron Cohen, based that voice on his Sri Lankan Lawyer. Like are they copying a specific regional accent that media is fixated on instead of a broader Indian accent?
You are on a roll... THANK YOU for mentioning one of my favorite movies Bend it like Beckham.... I was actually confused regarding the scene you mentioned regarding the slur.... Fortunately I had a few clients from South Asia that gave me insight to the ways of the culture.... Asking questions is how you learn..... As for Beauty or aesthetics of the South Asian individuals, is not worth debating due to Miss India makes the top 10 every year of the Miss Universe Pageant...... This year they had a representative from Pakistan for the first time in many years.... That speaks for itself..... Speaking of pageants another movie that I enjoyed for the honest REALISTIC portrayal of South Asian culture was .......Miss India America ...... It was funny while also showing a cutthroat side of the South Asian culture....... I am sure you have seen it..... Keep up the good work ...
this video is amazing. if you ever make a part 2, a character you could possibly include is matthew patel from scott pilgrim. he is so iconic in my opinion and a generally hilarious and dramatic guy, minus any stereotypes and he's actually played by an indian actor. plus i think he may be emo based on the way he presents himself and how he talks which is even funnier.
I'm just waiting to see what rating she gives my boy, Hodji. He was awesome, he was invaluable, and he was Johnny's best friend. I do remember a few goofy things, but I feel like he's better than some representations nowadays. Edit: Aww, hell yeah!
Another great video! If you ever do a video on later Indian characters, it would be interesting to see what you think of Raj and Noah from Total Drama!
Hey! I love your punctuality and charisma on screen! This video (and your last one on this subject) was entertaining! I really hope your channel grows, because your quality shines true!
You mentioned Camp Lazlo and I'm here! I skipped to 5:06 yes, i know the accent is stereotypic but Raj is a fun character. He acts selfish sometimes but he's still got a fun and playful side. Also I'm surprised you mentioned Sally Bollywood, since that aired on Qubo where I live (and barely anyone knew what Qubo was). Even though it was an Australian show, I think they actually had people form India working on it too because I remember reading some of the names in the credits. Also, the voice actors sound like that because it's a dub I think.
"The Elephant Princess". For many years I thought I had dream this show, I had very vague memories. Watching your videos made me search for it again, through the years I had try and failed. With the few characteristics I remembered I searched on Google "2000s kids show about an Indian girl that magically traveled, there's also an elephant". Nothing. I finally look up (in spanish) shows about India from the 2000s that aired in latinoamerica and found it. It's an Australian show and I discovered why the description in English wasn't getting me anywhere. The protagonist it's an Australian girl. "The show revolves around a suburban Australian teenager, who discovers she is the heiress to the throne of Manjipoor, a fictional Indian kingdom". I can't speak on its quality, but I thought it was worth sharing it with you.
The Cheetah Girls movie deserves Vivek Ramaswamy tier solely because of the fact that they casted a non-Indian man to play an Indian love interest. And they made him seem way better than the other two who were ACTUALLY INDIAN. Idk it screams racist to me that they don't wanna cast an Indian man as the heartthrob character. (nvm you put him in the tier he deserves lmao)
i so rarely see people discussing indian characters and how they were handled in cartoons despite knowing that was a Very prominent element of a lot of kids cartoons. its nice hearing your perspective!
woah.. Im not Indian (but im Mexican-American to be exact) but i have never heard anyone talk about Sally Bollywood!!! I was obsessed with it when i was little.
although i'm not indian, i am indo-guyanese so i ate up any representation i could get. if a 7-season long run doesn't intimidate you, i would implore you to look into sav and alli from degrassi. i lost my mind when i found out EVERY actor in their family was guyanese and yet they chose to keep them as indian and i'd love to hear your take on them and their storylines as an indian person.
This was such a fun video! Thank you for sharing!! Can’t wait to see what other content you bring! I hope it’s similar, tier lists, media analysis etc you have such a fun perspective and personality!
There was a 90s reboot of Johnny Quest that made some changes to Hadji. They decided to make his "Indian mysticism" be something he plays up to fuck with people. Unfortunately, they made him the tech expert, a few years before THAT became the go-to stereotype for Indian characters.
Good to see Sally Bollywood get the stamp of approval, I honestly thought that show would fare a lot worse considering the voice cast and how out there the show itself occasionally was. I guess I'd sum it up as a show that uses Indian culture and dress the way many Sherlock Holmes adaptations/references use British culture and dress, so as long as Indian people are cool with it, I guess there's nothing more to complain about.
If suggestions are open, then I recommend Matthew Patel from Scott pilgrim!! He’s voiced/played by Satya Bhabha and he’s a really good character!! In terms of representation I think it’s decent, I don’t feel like it’s my place to comment, but it’s nowhere near any of the f tiers
Karra thank you for this part 2!!! 👏👏👏 I have never watched Johnny Bravo Goes to Bollywood but I am so glad you introduced it, it seems to have a different vibe… then again what American cartoons have more than one token Indian character/family in them besides this one?
I mentioned it in my stand-alone comment but it's probably because it was made originally as an 11 minute short directly for Cartoon Network India! It aired only there and did not have any dubs/international releases. It was lengthened to the film in 2011 and that version aired internationally. My guess is that an Indian studio helped produce at least the short film. An interesting part of CN history!
I don’t see ENOUGH of these videos discussing these topics. I’m Ivorian,(West Africa) but I heavily relate to the misrepresentation. I wish there was more discussion and appropriate representation for brown characters. Y’all deserve your flowers 💐
Bruno Mars is like 1/4 Puerto Rican so probably has a little African blood but yeah being 1/2 Filipino can make you a nice medium olive. Rita Ora, you have no excuses lol
Do you wanna know about the brazilian telenovela "Caminho das Indias" produced by Rede Globo in 2009? it was filmed partially in india and was pretty popular at the time, like most Globo's telenovelas it was sold overseas so probably exists a dub
Rajeev and Shanila from "Dude That's My Ghost". It's been a *LONG* time since I've watched it and it's also just a niche cartoon period, but when I think of Indian characters in cartoons they pop up in my head sometimes.
As much as I loved watching Sally Bollywood (I discovered it on Qubo as a highschool student), I too agree that there were too few Indians in the show.
I remember Camp Lazlo, but I had no idea that Raj was supposed to be Indian. I thought his accent made him German or Swedish? I was only 4 when I watched it, but Im literally now just learning he was supposed to be Indian.
Ooh if you ever do later tv shows, Connie from Steven Universe, Indie from How To Be Indie, and Rose from MIHigh ( it’s a British tv show that was really popular over here) would be great additions. These shows were really popular in my early-late teens, and seeing the focus on Indian women and girls on TV was refreshing. I’m not sure how problematic or nuanced they are because I haven’t seen them in a while, but they served as representation for a lot of girls my age. I think we had a lot more Indian representation in the UK because of the large Indian population in the country. Being Black-Caribbean Indian myself, there was a decent amount of representation on British children’s tv. We had representation of Indian children in foster care/ care homes, Indian children who were superstars (not backup friends), Indian children who were rebellious, and Indian children who were proudly Indian. Of course, we had the American Disney representations here as well. But as far as British children’s tv between 2008-2014, there was a lot of positive Indian representation.
Like for Prakash Indeep Doo-Doo, ignore for Harry Bollywood

okay I understand how the Irish coach attempting to comfort her can seem kind of ridiculous without context, but Bend It Like Beckam was made in 2002, and the coach's comment was made in context of the Irish Troubles-- an Irish person growing up in England anywhere in the 1900s would have likely faced discrimination, maybe especially if someone was growing up in the 1960s-1990s.
But Sally Bollywood was my life when I was a kid, it was one of the few shows that I could watch consistently and it was so great
Raj was awesome. They didn’t make a big deal over him coming from a different country, he was just one of the guys.
Oh my god, I completely forgot about Sally Bollywood! I used to watch it on Qubo all the time
SAME! I use to love that show.
I LOVE SALLY BOLLYWOOD
Same
I love that show 😍
QUBO SWEEP
Loved them in the series one of the best.
0:10 "I should really call him" not even 15 seconds in, and that took me out 😂
10:13 they really put a rising sun flag (its equivalent to n@zi germany flag, japanese imperialism and colonialist era gets overlooked a lot, not to mention they also colonised a part of India..).
As a kid I didn't label Raj (Camp Lazlo) as Indiana but now it's obvious. It's good to know his race didn't define his character.
19:42 Nah, as a Jamaican, this took me out. You’re honestly hilarious. 😂😂
Plus, the writers seemed to think it was really funny to 1) make Beck and Jade a toxic, miserable couple and 2) make Beck more of a player as the show went on, to the point where it seemed like he expected for all women to want him
But, hey, he wasn’t ever the stereotypical nerd or dork and instead he was known for how attractive and smooth he was. Victorious is one of those shows where I just wanna rescue the characters from it and scrape the awful crud off of em
Victorious is controversial, you got that right! Good music, bad humor, and a creator that needs to be in a high security prison
They never acknowledged his Indian identity. It's only because he looks white that they gave him that role.
Thank you come again.
Side note, my college tour guide was an Indian American guy named Aaron. I thought his name was just Arun but Americanized but his name was actually Aaron lmao
it's giving A.J. but it's spelled "Ajay"
8:38 I've heard of Indians in Guyana with the westernised name but I think that's just a result of British colonialism because my great uncle's father in law actually had the name Hari when he was alive
idk I think theres a lot of indians with western first names, especially people from the christian community
@@aeriumsoftdefinitely not a lot. only about 2% of indians are christian and very few have western names
I love phineas and ferb so much but wow Baljeet aged like milk
Of trfficking?
I mean there was more to his character than just being Indian
him in the first seasons is bad, but the creators listened and got much much better
sally bollywood was my favorite show as a kid. i ATE THAT SHOW UP like it was my only purpose in life and i am so happy you showed it off here hahaha
Have you heard of the Rooster Teeth cartoon Camp Camp? The main character Max is Indian displaying no stereotypes as far as I can see (but I'm white, so...). Might be worth looking into, especially as he's a desi child from an abusive household.
Maybe in a future video?
i think its worth mentioning that the johnny bravo bollywood movie
it was made because of his popularity in india specifically.
Something I think could be brought up in a future video is how some Indian actors would not even have their name credited. I remember a promo for the Last Airbender movie refer to Dev Patel as “The Indian From Slumdog Millionaire.” When listing the Star power. And the same thing happened with Kal Penn.
I like that your tier system is great food, good food, rice is rice, and then.... Vivek. It's the sudden change from food XD.
Kelly is such a good female character and I'll die on this hill as I watched the office.
Before I transitioned I cosplayed as Captain Harlock and a French woman recognized it while referring to me excitedly as Albator (Harlock's name and the titular series in France)
Fantastic video btw!💖
Raj was always my favorite character from Camp Lazlo as a kid! He's so cute.
Guru Pateek. I can’t believe he’s not here (Avatar)
The only character with exaggerated accent.
As a Jamaican, I felt uniquely called out at the cheetah girls bit. I then cackled wildly.
I think you should check out that Canadian show "How to be Indie". Really enjoyed that one as a kid lol
Ooh yeah I loved that show!
Holy shit you just unearthed some ancient memories for me SMFNSKD. I could practically _hear_ the faint echoes of the theme song in my head. 😆
And to expand further on that: I’m extra taken aback as someone who usually remembers the shows I’ve watched as a kid, including the obscure ones my siblings don’t remember (from _Xi You Ji_ 1999 to _Heimao Jingzhang_ to _Big Comfy Couch_ to _Jimmy Two Shoes_ and beyond), so being reminded of _How to Be Indie_ felt truly like a sudden shock ahaha.
I came to the comments wondering if anyone would mention Max, glad to see that someone did!
There is a stark lack of Bluey in your selection of good Australian media. If you haven't seen it yet, you're in for a real treat.
Isn't Rusty's Brother's friend, Tiny, Indian?
To be fair with the Sally show, in south west Sydney there are lot of Australian born Indians who have Australian accents with a touch of Indian.
Bro, that feeling when you find an amazing content creator that has the same taste in humor is awesome
can u make me levitate
🎶sim sim salabim🎶
this video is amazing. if you ever make a part 2, a character you could possibly include is matthew patel from scott pilgrim. he is so iconic in my opinion and a generally hilarious and dramatic guy, minus any stereotypes and he's actually played by an indian actor. plus i think he may be emo based on the way he presents himself and how he talks which is even funnier.
Raj is like a few octaves off from sounding exactly like that dude from big bang theory.
I found your channel few days ago. and I love it.
Hey! I love your punctuality and charisma on screen! This video (and your last one on this subject) was entertaining! I really hope your channel grows, because your quality shines true!
"escaped JC Penny mannequins" 😂😂
Love the tier names on this list. Perfection. Also, now I want mutar paneer.
My fave character is Raj from Camp Lazlo 😂
My littlest is growing up on Mira the Royal detective (essentially modern day Sally Bollywood for a slightly younger audience)
19:44 I am here sitting in my very Jamaican chair in my very Jamaican home when I tell you I was kinda dozing off and flinched when you said this😭
The Cheetah Girls movie deserves Vivek Ramaswamy tier solely because of the fact that they casted a non-Indian man to play an Indian love interest. And they made him seem way better than the other two who were ACTUALLY INDIAN. Idk it screams racist to me that they don't wanna cast an Indian man as the heartthrob character.
(nvm you put him in the tier he deserves lmao)
Oh, goodness, I didn't think there were so many people who know Sally Bollywood!! It's so cool seeing her being talked about :D
You opened up a lost memory about her cheetah girls 3. And then I remember how terrible it was.
Sally Bollywood OWNS. It was one of the cartoons I would tune in for a nice Saturday afternoon watch.
This isn’t from the timeframe you mentioned but I’ve gotten such joy from watching Mira Royal Detective in my adulthood. That show is so cute!
i so rarely see people discussing indian characters and how they were handled in cartoons despite knowing that was a Very prominent element of a lot of kids cartoons. its nice hearing your perspective!
Honestly sharing your thoughts and reactions is such a mood. I watched your original video and i think you have alot of charisma ❤
I absolutely loved this! 😂 You’re hilarious for putting Vikram in his own category. 😭😭😭
much love to your original video and this one! thank you so much for sharing!
I had to pause and just laugh as soon as the levitation started, lol. Also love your videos and your makeup and hair! Hope you get to 5,000 subs :)
Love the topics you talk about but your personality and humor are what got me coming back, hope to see more from you💖
Karra thank you for this part 2!!! 👏👏👏
I have never watched Johnny Bravo Goes to Bollywood but I am so glad you introduced it, it seems to have a different vibe… then again what American cartoons have more than one token Indian character/family in them besides this one?
I mentioned it in my stand-alone comment but it's probably because it was made originally as an 11 minute short directly for Cartoon Network India! It aired only there and did not have any dubs/international releases. It was lengthened to the film in 2011 and that version aired internationally.
My guess is that an Indian studio helped produce at least the short film. An interesting part of CN history!
It was made in India so it makes sense
There was also The Real Adventures of Johhny Quest of Johhny and Hadji as teenagers. Probably came out in the 90s.
I don’t see ENOUGH of these videos discussing these topics. I’m Ivorian,(West Africa) but I heavily relate to the misrepresentation. I wish there was more discussion and appropriate representation for brown characters. Y’all deserve your flowers 💐
21:50 girl, what 😭 this is like when I learned Rita Ora and Bruno Mars weren't Black 😂
Bruno Mars is like 1/4 Puerto Rican so probably has a little African blood but yeah being 1/2 Filipino can make you a nice medium olive. Rita Ora, you have no excuses lol
Im sorry, Bruno Mars is NOT BLACK??
Dangggggg!!!
I'm so glad I subbed to you. I grew up with ALL these characters, and I'm glad some were redeemed.
As much as I loved watching Sally Bollywood (I discovered it on Qubo as a highschool student), I too agree that there were too few Indians in the show.
I remember Camp Lazlo, but I had no idea that Raj was supposed to be Indian. I thought his accent made him German or Swedish? I was only 4 when I watched it, but Im literally now just learning he was supposed to be Indian.
... this is the kinda stuff that has been floating around in my soup of a brain for Years. Thank you for making this 😊
Ooh if you ever do later tv shows, Connie from Steven Universe, Indie from How To Be Indie, and Rose from MIHigh ( it’s a British tv show that was really popular over here) would be great additions.
