Isabel, you are lucky to have the lifestyle and the many experiences you have. They are the reason you have a successful. Most of us view your videos because we do not have the means, emotional support and opportunities that you do. We’d love to be where you’re at in life.
It’s difficult to understand why you’re unhappy and feel you haven’t done enough.
Perhaps, as much as you say you’re grateful, you truly are not.

I am from Canada, though my father was from Flensburg, Germany, which is right on the Danish Border.
Many people mistakenly think that Canada is a Nordic Country. The climate here is continental, on the cold side of the Gulf Stream. This means that the winters here are much colder and more difficult that in Nordic countries, but also that the summers are hotter here and more uncomfortable that in Nordic countries.
In Nordic countries, winters are mild and summers are cool. Summer days are very long and winter nights are also very long.
      These things are extremes.
Most Canadians hate the local winter because it is too long and too cold. Montreal is at the same latitude as Southern France, Toronto is closer to the Equator than it is to the North Pole.
Scandinavians, Icelandics and Finns dance with winter, whilst most Canadians hate winter, and either flee south or spend it waiting for spring.
      All the best!

Dear Isabel. I am a woman from Denmark and one of the many people who have chosen an education and a job that I love! In the 16 years I have studied at university and the 18 years I have taught as a high school teacher, I have LOVED my work! Now I get paid to teach others about the subjects I myself am interested in. My salary makes it possible to live out my many dreams as a single parent to my two beautiful children. Today, there are virtually no limits to what we can do if we want to. How anyone sees this lifestyle as grueling and trivial is a mystery to me! My education has meant that I have cognitively learned an INCREDIBLE lot about exciting topics and not least about the way people and society influence each other. My workday is never the same and I drive home almost every day with a smile on my face looking forward to see my children. I believe that it is important to do our part to make the world better - not only for ourselves but also to help support others in making the most advantageous choices in life. You have a huge platform and huge potential where you reach many people every week! - what is YOUR mission with these exciting opportunities? Love from Stine in Denmark.

@@RFCircle I am German but have lived in South Africa a long time. It has taught me how tough and unforgiving life can be for millions of people. They live a "simple life" because they are trying to survive. I understand how Isabel can feel alienated from a world with empty values but surely the answer should be to know and feel comfortable within one's own values then you won't be affected by what people around you think. Isolating yourself will not bring that. As a young person I used to look down on wealth but Africa has taught me that it is a very precious thing. It is how one uses it that makes a difference and Isabel strikes me as a person who would know how to use it wisely.

It looks like you had a great time on your trip. IMO, spending time with old friends has a way of making ANYTHING better.
I really appreciate you sharing your life with us as you do. It's usually the insignificant , relatively mundane quiet moments - like you just drinking coffee in the morning, or kneading bread dough with Black Cat on the counter near you - that I enjoy most in your videos. You radiate peace and tranquility, and I think we all need more of that in our lives.
Once again, thank you so much.

As a crafter, I completely understand how you're feeling about filming. I find I get like that for long periods of time, but to reconnect, I ask myself, what about this originally brought me joy? Why am I doing it? Who am I doing it for? I tend to do things "for people," and that doesn't bring me joy. When I shift my focus on making things I enjoy the process of, I find my passion comes back.
Also, I loved the mellow video today! 😊

Honestly i think this is one of my favorite videos from you, it wasn’t a lame one at all. I’ve realized before but this video made me realize again how much we worry and stress over things in life that do not matter, like our looks, how much money we make, what clothes we have, what cars we drive, things on social media. We worry so much about what others have and do and forget about our own lives and how grateful we should all be for every day of life. Today’s world makes us think we need to be in competition with everyone around us or everyone on social media and that’s not life at all. There are so many beautiful things that were created for us and we just need to be grateful and live life happy.

The older you are, the more important your friends become. Nurture your friendships often. The same goes for your family. I'll be 60 in three days. I have 5 friends from childhood and we all feel the same way, as do many of my cousins who are of similar age. This is important because you need those voices of reason, to commiserate with you, be a good companion, and to work through what is going on in your life.

God knows that I envy you, but moreso for my daughter's sake. You 2 are the same age, & I feel you've lived sev lifetimes while she spends her days working, & then just being on the computer. We have a house in the Appalachian mtns we go to every wknd, yet she prefers to stay home. We've planted huge gardens, & I've become good at pressure canning & water bathing all our food. We have 13 chickens, which are all amazing, precious, very smart gifts from God, & the stream we have right behind the house is soo beautiful & amazing! There's just such incredible beauty all around! I'm disabled, tho, & at age 52, that really brings down my inner spirit, & I long to give my daughter an appreciation of this life before I'm too old, or unable. I don't have the $ to send her places, & she doesn't make enough, so that's my goal - figure out how to bring in some income. I'm wanting to start a crafting channel - been collecting craft supplies for yrs for this purpose, yet I've honestly been afraid of failing.
Your vids give me strength & comfort, & the motivation to want more so my daughter can experience life! I'd love for her to live as much as you do, outside herself & inside this incredible world of nature & beauty:) Technology really does sap the life out of us, & it's time for her to live a little:)
Anyway, thank you for these vids:) You're very inspiring in a quiet way that screams loudly to my soul to do more, yet also live gently. You have a gift, & I'm so glad you share it w/us all♡

Great to see that you enjoyed your stay in Sweden and the trip to Norway. I´v been hiking in Norway for years and appreciate the fjords and mountains enormously. My thumbnail is from a Norway hike.
Take your time to recharge your batteris and just be in the moment. Don´t force anything.
Found your YT channel recently and its been a blessing! Take care!

Honestly this kind of video is a great perspective to see. The way you capture the beauty in your life is so inspiring to me, but when I think about capturing my day to day, generally I am either just taking it easy at home or hanging at a friends house. Which I suppose is beautiful in its own way. Its so lovely to see you enjoying some chill friend time and how simple and nourishing that can really be, even if it doesnt always make the most aesthetically pleasing video.

I haven't even finished watching the video but Isabel, I have to tell you, feeling behind in life is the monster under our beds. It seems like no matter where you look people do more things and they do them better, they are using their full potential and they just have their shit together. It's not even jealousy, it's admiration. The need to live up to your own impossible standards that essentially are a good thing because they give you energy to get up in the morning but man, do they fuck you up sometimes! I feel it too and I bet most of our generation does. In this race of individuals we forget to talk to others. To spend time getting to know them, falling in love and just being together. It's a constant struggle but moments like these make it worth it. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with the world

But wait, we aren’t supposed to live up to others or live their life; we must live our own life in whatever way we feel inside tells us. It’s innate and very unique to each one of us. Never compare in a way that makes you feel less than or sad. Only in a way that allows you to reflect on what you need and want in this life and use it as motivation to move forward.

Isabel: your videos are never lame! and you live the best way anyone could live. Life is not about having a job (mostly if you don't like what you do, just to make lots of money) BUT to live your best life possible, like YOU DO! you are one of the most creative person I know about, you live always in Nature. AND you are grateful for being lucky to have a wonderful family and friends! that's all there is to a beautiful life. You are not missing anything! you have it ALL ! peace and LOVE xxxx

This video was SO nostalgic for me! Last year in winter, I went to Norway for my semester abroad and it was the best, most-fulfilled time of my life. Since I live in Southern Germany, I'm used to breathtaking mountain views - but Norway still felt different. I'd aso love to move there very soon, but just moving without having any financial security is rough and scares me. If you guys have any tips about moving to Norway, let me know :) Wish you all the best Isabel!

Perhaps not within the arctic circle, but not far from it either. I've been to Finland around the summer solstice before, and you don't have to go too far north in that country at that time of year to have the sun not fully set at night. Friendship brought me out there, so yeah... definitely value in that. Everywhere I've traveled where I have local friends, they always add enjoyment to the trip.
