do you know how soap works? suspends oil into water. and do you know what alcohol does, makes oil and water able to mix. thats how they get oils into drinks and foods easily

@@Eichro Tap water has trace amounts of minerals dissolved in it, mostly calcium, potassium, magnesium, and (in some places) fluoride. The minerals can't evaporate with the water, so they just stay in the bucket when the humidifier boils it off.
