Cesar is probably one of the most genuine horses I’ve ever seen bless him, such a positive guy. Just goes to show the quality of horses they really have and the temperaments are to die for !!! It just shows that the horses just love their jobs ❤
I am living vicariously through your videos Meg!!! What a trip to remember, holy cow I am enjoying these videos so much! I think you need to get one of these horses back home ❤ And I would want to take Cesar home!!!!
I am so glad you shared this with us! Your smile, the glow you have is just *cheffs kiss* I was smiling from start to finish because you're having fun and it's so nice to just see that on your face!
I am so chuffed (proud/pleased) to see how much fun you had in my home-country!! Yes, boerperd horses are smart - they're like a cowboy breed, they know many things, know how to deal with and sustained energy 😀Sad you missed seeing the Lippies though; I guess that means you'll have to come back and visit Cape Town! (and letting your SAn fans know ahead to do a big meet-up!) The saddles are a mix between english and western, and are known as 'trail saddles', I'm addicted to them loll
What a wonderful experience for you all Megan. Your face definitely lit up more when riding Ceasar. You and your greys!! But, I must admit, he was super duper handsome. A very pretty horse. Petes filming is amazing, as per usual. Beautiful scenery. 😎😎
GORGEOUS! All of it! The horses look great (some other places I've seen vids from, they look underfed and weedy), you guys are legends, and Pete's work here is really next level. What an amazing opportunity! I would love to do this--can never in a million years afford it, though, so at least I can do it vicariously, thanks to you!
What a glorious trip! The horses, the wild animals, the landscape and the riding experience all are superb!!! To top it off the food and accommodations look to be fabulous! I love all of your vlogs! You take me back 50 years to my youth and your personality and vivacious character is delightful!!!
Hi Megs! I've loved seeing your take on South Africa! As a South African, it makes me so happy!!Also, my sisters and I have 3 Boerperds between us and we love them! They are so honest and gentle! Do you think they're similar to Connemaras?
The timing of this could not be better given that I booked a South Africa riding safari 2 weeks ago, to go in October! So I am absolutely loving these so much! This is so epic! Caesar is so precious!
Omg I held my breath so many times. Hippos😮snakes 😮. You're all such good friends and riders. I'd love to do something like this. Can't wait for the next instalment. P. S I adore Cessar, he's just so sweet!!!
You look radiant ❤ Your love and appreciation for these beautiful animals you bonded with along the way was lovely to see. A true and caring horsewomen 😊
Wow, did you see the African Fish Eagle fly up at 36:46 when they start the "long splashy canter"? It's like a bald eagle but it has a bigger white head area.
Thank you so much for taking us along on this trip Meg! I‘ve always wanted to do this but might never make it down there myself, so getting to experience a little bit of it through your videos is awesome! You look like you‘re having so much fun too!
Your horses would totally be able to do it! 😅😅 Here in Norway we got lot of tracks in the woods with similar difficulties, and all kinds of horses do yhem! Like Simon said; give them their head and make them use their brain! 😄👍😄 Love your humor and of course the beauty of your adventur!!! Ceasar is a beautiful boy!!!
Hi Meg it’s me molly from Ireland the girl that was on the crutches in holmstead in kildare just to let u know that u we’re amazingly nice and your are so sweet and generous and your so gorgeous ❤
Omg that looked beautiful out there again I loved it when you all cantered through the water that looked sooooo much fun. Your tents were amazing just gorgeous and all of you are so relaxed and having great fun.tfs🏇🤣🏇
Wow what a dream! This is sooo incredible to watch! I know most equestrians and non equestrians alike will enjoy this! You are such an awesome content creator and your content is always inspiring and enjoyable! Thanks for being you! ❤
I was thinking, no way will this vlog top the last one! What the heck!? This was amazing!! I absolutely loved the canter footage through the water! Freaking amazing! Also, “I like that boulder, that’s a nice boulder!” If you know, you know😂 Love from California🏔️🌲☀️🩵
Please tell me I'm not the only one whose mind went to a proper filthy place when Meg said "the bigger the tassel, the better the rider!" 😂😭 I'm sweet and innocent, honest!
The history of the Boerperd is divided into two phases. A first phase took place between around 1652 and 1836, when the first horses arrived at the Cape - Barb-Arabian crosses imported from Java. Bred with Andalucian and Persian Arab horses, these animals formed the basis of a recognised breed known at the time as the Cape Horse.
Looks absolutely incredible!!!😍😍😍might sound stupid but….how do they know there aren’t any crocodiles in the water you’re riding through?! Would scare the crap out of me 😅😂
Well, no croc is gonna worry about a bunch of horses, other than to get out of the way LOL. They don't eat things that large or waste energy on pointless kill attempts. 🙂
Actually some of the oldest rocks in the world are in South Africa. Part of my master's thesis involved analyzing fossils in 2.5 billion year old rocks from there! Pete is very correct.
I cant get over how good you look Meg! Positively glowing and your hair is mwah!
So kind, thank you!
@elphick.event.ponies great role model for young girls ❤
What does you sweat smell like though?
@@elphick.event.poniesI am going to the shopping thing on Sunday so I will look out for u because it says ur gonna be there
