Four or five Merc 600's don't sip fuel. 1200 gallons = 300 nautical miles if your lucky. How large is the generator fuel tank? The HCB's have diesel generators with good size tank. I also have not seen any of these boats with the commercial grade Mercury SeaPro 500hp 7.6L V12. What does the heavy duty version cost you in performance and in the pocket book. It's exciting that more high end luxury center consoles are on the market. The competition will push the designers and make the prices more competitive. This luxury fishing yacht looks spectacular.
Beautiful boat, a bit too plush for my tastes, and a bit overpowered, I'd swap the 600's for 450's and get a little bit more range (if I ever win the lottery)
actually pretty close to being underpowered. General rule of thumb is 25-40 lbs per horsepower. this boat being just over 50,000 lbs and with 2400 hp that's about only 21 lbs per hp. Also the 450s do not have the torque to push this boat like these V12s do. Only other reasonable option to increase range would be twin inboard diesels.
@YTS The Good Lyfes you're looking at your own formula backwards.. being at 21lbs per HP instead of 25 to 40lbs actually means it's OVERPOWERED.. each HP is moving fewer pounds
Let what I mean be understood well. I love Viking cruises, all they have always done is quality, etc etc. I am sure that these boats are continuity, quality, development, etc etc. But nothing is as forceful as the lie that Brandon's government wants to impose on all of us to ride in electric cars, the most sporty cars come out of production: Mustangs, Camaros, BMW M5s to comply with "rules of lies", we have the oil industry in decline, buying fuel from Venezuela, Brandon closed oil wells and the nautical industry is putting out a boat, 2400 HP, 3000 HP and some models are only suitable for crossing to the Bahamas to drink Champagne. The authorities really must believe, they must be sure that we are idiots. All this nautical fashion "does not warm the atmosphere" because being in the middle of the sea is the only thing that makes that hot water...Enough of lies!
Our goal when showing any boat at a boat show is to introduce a model, talk about its standout or new features and provide context of how a boat fits in its category. It's not our goal to show you every inch of the boat or to sell it, as you mention that's the job of the company rep. Happy (keyboard) trolling MrBeach.

would have been nice if the guy actually knew about the boat. Kinda looks like he did a once over and then began presenting. -_-
When you said you wish the beers were real makes you sound like you wish you were somewhere else.

I just can’t get used to fishing off the back and over all the outboards……
A lot of people do that tho
Each one of those release ladder back seats are 15k
How do you fish off the back with those massive engines in the way? Prefer a sportfish with motors in the hull.
Especially for a 55'
Amazing! But at what point does one just get a Viking sport fishing yacht?
Hey hun just gotta go clean the boat … see ya in 3 days !!
Scout 530, HCB 53, or Valhalla 55? Tell me which one is the best.

@3monchii5 I never thought I would hear a boat that tops out in the mid 60's as being underpowered.
It's not going anywhere with 450's. You'd have to burn them up, negating what you think you're saving.
@@goaski474 I'm sure that 1800 HP will still get her on the plane, especially as you'll save about 1000 Kg in weight.
300,000 just in motors alone..
Terrible walkthrough of a clearly awesome boat
I’m sorry for being blunt, but this just doesn’t show what it has to offer
Agreed. Kinda embarrassing

If this was a Valhalla rep, his days with the company are limited. This was embarrassing
