We've been on NCL in the Haven. Last trip we were in the Owners suite. We liked MSC Yacht Club better. Our butler and Jr butler were more attentive. Always checking on us no matter where we happened to be. I like the food on NCL Haven restaurant but the menu stays the same. It changes every night on MSC. I liked the variety better. It's an Italian cruise line. Many different dishes. Didn't have one I didn't like. Everyone was amazing and could not do enough for you. Breakfast and lunch poolside with cooked to order steak's and fish for lunch. Plus many other things. If I had a choice of NCL or MSC, I would choose MSC.
If you do, make sure to leave the Yacht Club area and check out some of the other areas of the ship to mingle. We enjoyed The Sky Lounge, Adult Pool Area, Atrium, and Galleria. It seemed like some guests were reluctant to leave the Yacht Club area. We found the entire ship to be wonderful. You can see these areas in our videos. Happy Cruising!!!!!
There area few reports of NYC YC guests having incidents with non YC guests when by-passing them on the lines to get off and on the ship. Did you experience this?
Not at all. We didn't see any problems with the Yacht Club privileges during the cruise. The Yacht Club guests wait in a different room before boarding. Also, we waited until a little later to get off the ship. The people that had to rush off to get flights and such had already done so.
WOW we were on the same cruise!!!!! I had a good time and will be back.

I want to do the Yacht club but would be traveling solo. Would you recommend?
