I graduated this May studying CS and have been looking for a job since August. But this unemployment era introduced me to self discovery and learning, and is making me question about my passions and purpose. Glad to come across this video certainly makes me relaize that I am tired of living in fear and want to live life unappolgetically on my own terms.

If we believed that an entry-level CS job paid 400.000 a year, that is. Glassdoor says that's a fat lie. Google "glassdoor full stack web developer salary Los Angeles" and see the truth (we are being generous by not including the "junior dev" keywords). The average is just above 130.000.
If we include the "junior dev" it falls down to 80.000 average. But Pan landed *five times the average* , for sure :P

400k is basically unheard of at new grad wtf. I’m getting 167k at Amazon and after promo I’m gonna get 250k. After PROMO. You jumped straight into mid-late career salary and threw it away. Like, I think that’s a bit less than my senior who’s fricken 45 yrs old is being paid bro lol. I don’t think that salary is coming for a long time again man. If you kept that job by the end of the decade you could have been set for life.
