INEC, Residents Of Edo Count Down To Saturday Governorship Election

Tomorrow, September 21st, Edo electorate are expected to come out in numbers to elect a new governor who will superintend over the affairs of the state for the next four years.
The state has about 18 local government areas with 4,519 polling units with over 2 million persons having collected their permanent voters’ card.
Anticipation is high over this off-cycle election especially with the friction between top political parties participating in the election.
The Independent National Electoral Commission has assured of its commitment to oversee a seamless electoral process.
