Brenda and Jason - "I want you to be sorry", 1997

- This is a very intense Brazen fight at the height of their hatred for one another right after Sonny left Brenda at the altar. Jason stops by Brenda's new cottage in the woods and wants her permission to protect her. Brenda tells him that she hates him with every fiber of her being and thinks that he is the cruelest person she has ever met. She wants to know if he felt anything when he saw her crying in the church and wants him to not just say he's sorry for helping Sonny abandon her but to truly be sorry.
Their chemistry was sooooo damn strong and good it’s crazy even after all these yrs I can’t stop watching these scenes
Classic! Vintage! I loved this scene between Jason & Brenda, why can't GH be like this now? Why have the GH writers tried to destroy Brenda's strong vulnerable character during her last 2 returns?
I know they were never a real couple, but they are my favorite pair to watch in a scene together. During Brenda's returns I look more forward to her screen time with Jason than with Sonny or Jax

It was terrific! I hate when people act like Courtney or Sam is Jason's true or first love and act like Robin and Liz never existed. Just because it didn't last between Jason and Robin doesn't make it less real.
@@starweaver1567 Robin was his first love but Sam was his true love and Soulmate. Elizabeth is just mother of his child. She took advantage of pain
When Jason said just because he doesn't want you doesn’t mean he wants you dead. I actually started to despise him. How mean and insensitive can he get? Shows he learned how to hurt Brenda almost as much as Sonny did.

I LOVED this because I thought Brenda said EVERY SINGLE THING I wanted her to say to Jason for SO long.... I wanted him to "be sorry" too!!!! She said everything and I mean EVERYTHING I was thinking.
Brenda crossed the line when it came to Robin, everything else she had a right

Sonny absolutely destroyed her.
She was already destroyed long before she met sonny, her so called family didn’t help, a father who never gave her any attention, mother who left declared dead and her sister who left, talk about abandonment, sonny pushed it more
Sonny destroys everyone..even in his old age.
He had no right to force himself into her house.
He sonny and Carly always thought they had the right
This is more entertaining then what GH has become nowadays

Brenda was stupid yet sonny was wrong for putting that on jason in the first place. She took her pain out on jason cuz sonny wasn't there and he sent jason to hurt her for his punk ass..
Jason , who knows who he loves, he forgot about robin from the first mistake she made with him, he and sonny both or two ruthless people, both of the deserve Carly and Michael that was what the whole show revolved around, even after robin taught him so much, he was the one that did the betrayal

I Never Understood why she was so mad at Jason? He was just the Messager!!! Sonny was a Coward and needed soneone too do his Dirty Work For Him!!!
Cause Brenda is and was a selfish brat. I really liked her and Sonny together back when I was about 15 and as I got older her behavior irritated the s*** out of me and it took me a while to understand why. It's because as a fifteen-year-old I related to Brenda's outbursts, and self-involved behavior because it's teenage girl dramatics. As I got older and watched her continue to behave that way (including during her returns) it bugged me to see a grown woman behave like a moody, weak teenager.
@@marcykeeley7709 Brenda grew up with Jason QUARTERMAINE, and she watched Jason MORGAN break Robin’s (her best friend) heart and found out what he does for Sonny after years of Sonny lying to her about what he did.
@@marcykeeley7709 How could you possibly say that? Sonny and Jason were the selfish brats to her. What they did was absolutely disgusting. Sonny coming up with it and Jason green lighting it. Brenda had every right to despise Jason. And she didn’t have outburst or self-involved behavior. When she knew something was up she got to the bottom of it and found the truth every time.
@Omiccron - Yes. I miss this Jason too. Where he showed emotion. Robin brought it out in him. Now he is emotionless and I hate his relationship with Sam. They do nothing for me!
These two had CHEMISTRY. Would've made more sense than her and Jax / him and Carly. Funny had he hooked up w/ Brenda since Sonny and Carly betrayed him.
Sonny probably would've killed Jason if he ever slept with Brenda ( especially in the earlier years )
@@ccjadd10 Well I'd been all for that. Jax was a bore and I didn't like how they made Jason Sonny's little lap dog, they should've had more arguments. And that's what Sonny gets for making Jason take all the heat for HIS bad actions. Take the heat all the way to Brenda, lol!

Their connection was amazing but if she would have got with jason I think even through she dated him first robin would have felt betrayed
I literally couldn’t stand Jason after that motorcycle accident and the way he behaved with Brenda after Sonny left

They took material not as good as they are and made it better, write about the middle , is when they shouldof kissed,

I know they were fighting in this scene and Jason was supposed to be angry, but that was not anger in Jason's eyes if you get what i'm saying. We've seen Steve's eyes when Jason's pissed.
I think Sonny would have actually killed Jason. Sharing Carly was one thing but Jason sleeping with Brenda???? Would have been a whole shoot out.
