I would recommend to play the game your style. I prefer to level up everything as I go including tech to stay strong but at times jumping to next castle level is needed. It is a fine balance
It is the same concept with equipment in the game. You make a certain type of material to fuse together to make the material greater in strength and certain material to make different types of equipment. The process can be long the higher up you go but there are many ways to speed that up
Sending you're troops to a rally to hide troops is such a great idea mr OG
