I love patterns like this that are easy but also look like they were a lot more difficult than it really was! The chevron is easy but it is plain stripes. This pattern spices it up a lil! Love it!
@Grace Doucette Yea it's easy once you learn how to do it! Are you comfortable making the chevron pattern now? If so, I found a pattern on braceletbook.com that is like a chevron, just a little different. And it was very easy to make! I can post the pattern number if you want to check it out
@Grace Doucette That's awesome! I've been making bracelets since I was around 7 yrs old and I just turned 36 about a month ago! So I've been doing them for a long time, but they didn't have all these patterns back when I first started!
I love how detailed you are with your explanations! I understand it all myself, but it’s so thoughtful of you, because it really makes it so much easier to understand, and carry these skills on to any other patterns! Thank you, Masha!
This was so helpful! I’ve only done one bracelet that wasn’t a chevron or candy stripes, but I’ve had a couple of fails when attempting more difficult patterns. I always try to follow the pattern by row, but it makes way more sense to break it down into “squares” and “outlines” in this pattern. Also, just learning how to start a wide pattern is helpful. Thank you!
This tutorial was absolutely fantastic i can now make bracelets with more then ten strings thank you so much Masha knots❤️ Edit I can make both normal and alpha patterns with 30 strings now♥️
I did it after l did many mistakes, but didn't give up👌 Was hard in the beginning then was easy to Finish it. Thank you for teaching me a new pattern 🙏🏼 love it ❤️
Hi i love u so so much. ur bracelets are always AMAZING. Keep up the great work!! I love the way you teach us how to make the bracelets. Its so fun making bracelets.💗💘❤
hey! you said 2 "strings" of each color and 40 inches per string, so is that 2 strings each 40 inch (80 inches of each color), or one string (for each color) thats 40 inches that you fold in half?
I love your channel and just started making this bracelet. It is such an amazing design. But I made some of the squares the wrong colors and didn't notice now I am am halfway done with the bracelet and the design is messed up. I should have payed better attention to the pattern.
I know I'm a bit late to this post lol. But would it work with a loop? Another question.. does it take up alot of string? And.. which starting and ending would be easier.... lol sorry for all the questions
1)yes it would totally work with a loop. 2)it takes quite a bit of string. If you're doing a loop, it takes 7 strings that are about 80 inches (2m) long. If you aren't doing a loop, and just doing triangle ends, it takes 14 strings that are 40 inches (1m) long. Both cases use the same amount of string, I just wrote them differently so you could understand more easily. 3)If you aren't super advanced, a triangle end would likely be easier to start and finish, because she shows how to start it in this video, and she has many videos on triangle ends in case you need more info on how to start and finish with them.
First, obviously, you make a loop (which she has many videos about) and then you look at the pattern and choose where you want the teardrop to be (again, she has a video on teardrop loops, and after watching that, you'll probably be able to do it). It's hard to explain it in a comment, but her videos make a ton of sense. Hope that helps!
Having some issues trying this pattern. I've been making bracelets for a while and encountered problems I haven't encountered since i first started. Like knots popping. For some reason some will just undo. I did forward knots when I was supposed to, and so on. I took my time and was precise as I usually am. But for some reason it just looks messy and unnatural. Not sure what I'm doing thats so obviously wrong. Also the black knotting strings got real short, real fast couldn't make as long of a bracelet I would have liked so I would defo make them longer in the future!
I used to experience knots popping out as well. The problem is that you aren't tying the first half of the knot tight enough. This causes the string to be visible, and the knot to be loose, which causes it to pop out. Hope that helps!
No No don’t start anOthEr brAcelEt you have like fiVe unfinishEd bracetttsss, but gotta sat this pattern is SOoo pretty definately gonna try it sometime
Por favor puede decir la cantidad de hilo que usa para cada tutorial, muy bonitos trabajos, pero tengo problemas con la cantidad de hilo, yo uso hilo macramé saludos desde Lima Perú
@@MashaKnots ohh... there so good thoo!!! btws i just made this one, (one in black and one in white) this was so easy thankyou, keep making more of your bracelet tutorials i love them!!!
I’ve made bracelets before but i am in no way trying to hate this tutorial was just extremely confusing for me because I didn’t start with triangle ends and I’m just very very lost u went very fast and I’m confused lmao
Maybe watch some of her basic loops and triangle ends videos first? Or check out some of her simpler tutorials? If you want to start a bracelet with a loop, maybe choose a tutorial that she starts with a loop, that way it's easier to follow. Hope that helps!
I love that cat tape so much!! I also love this pattern and the colors are so pretty and go so good together. I love watching your videos!!
It’s probably my favourite washi tape I own 🐱
Yes I can see why. It means so much that you saw my comment and replied!! Thank you!!

OMG! I’ve been wanting to learn how to do a bracelet like this!! Thank you so much for this tutorial 😌😌
I like how you put the string lengths on the screen, very helpful! ❤

Oh my gosh! You MADE this pattern?! Masha you are SO talented!
Your the reason why I make friendship bracelets and I live your videos! And I just wanted to thank you so much for introducing me to them! 💕
Much better tutorial on explaining AND showing the steps. Thank you 😊

Ooh I actually made this bracelet! And it actually looks similar to yours, like not totally wonky! Thank you Masha!
Yay!
so funny I was just going to do the big version of this that is saw in your bracelet collection but then I saw this and I love it
this pattern's very cute and your tutorial was REALLY useful, thank you so much!! I'll try to do it as soon as possible.
Hi I love when a new vid comes out plus I was secand😊!
Hi i love u so so much. ur bracelets are always AMAZING. Keep up the great work!! I love the way you teach us how to make the bracelets. Its so fun making bracelets.💗💘❤
Please do more of these thicker beginner/intermediate bracelets 💞💞
Is there a smaller version of this somewhere? I like it, but I think it's too big to be a bracelet. Is there one with less strings I could try?
i very like the "duck tape " with cats
First love you masha❤️❤️❤️❤️
i have a question, if i’m not doing the triangle ends do I just start of with the black chevron?
What would u do if u weren't doing triangle ends?
You are pretty good explained to all of your tutorial. Thanks :) you are amazing!!!!!!
I saved the pattern right away on my bracelet book! I so wanna make this!!!
this bracelet is actually a lot easier than it looks once you get the hang of it
That green though 🥰
Wow im fall in love with this pattern thanks Masha! Monday i will start it. ❤️❤️😂❤️🙃🖐🏻
This is so pretty! I am at my new house so i dont have my thread😞 but i will totally make this when i get back to my other house I'm moving out of!
To me they look like tiny little flowers everywhere
i actually started making brackets again bc if u so thank u
Could you do this pattern starting in a triangle??? I would love a tutorial on it if possible
omg your so pretty i never saw your face before today
i love your creation :-) you are genial
Love the pattern! Can somebody pls tell me the start order of the color?
Black yellow, yellow black, black green, blue blue, blue black, black orange, orange black 😊

O my gosh I love your tape
Is there any way to make this one smaller
Can I do a teardrop loop for this?
Yes, you can.
Any chance you can make it without the black outline.
I want to make this as a keychain but idk how I would start it because it seems like I can’t do my regular loop at the top
How do y’all measure the length of string you need?
Check out my beginners guide video, I explain there :)
How could you make this bracelet without triangle ends because I've watched your triangle end video but I still dont understand
I noticed the black strings on the ends never show up. Would it be ok to use scrap strings for those?
Yep! That’s how the straight edge technique works
Hello Masha, is there any way to start this pattern with a loop?
Yes, you can start this with a loop. Check out her videos on Basic Loops for more info if you need it
I love your channel and just started making this bracelet. It is such an amazing design. But I made some of the squares the wrong colors and didn't notice now I am am halfway done with the bracelet and the design is messed up. I should have payed better attention to the pattern.

I've been making bracelets for 2 years and I want to try this but I'm to scared I'm going to mess up and waste a bunch of string
It’s not waste either way, it’s practice!
@@MashaKnots I made the bracelet! I'm glad I did becuase it turned out really good
did she make a loop on top of it?
nope, she started with triangle ends. But you CAN start this bracelet with a loop if you'd like.
I love it 💞

Is anyone else finding some of the black threads becoming very short and a couple are still remaining long?, or am I doing something wrong?
It happens! They're being used differently
Thanks Masha!
Love it!
