He said who better than "the mother of rock" (his words) to sing the part of Mother Nature. Sure, maybe they'd have gone with Grimes again. But they do prefer working with new artists every chance they get. Availability typically factors in for live performances.
To be fair, they were pretty terrible live until around 2012. Rough, scratchy and suffering from cheap PA kit double maxxed out. It may be just coincidental but strikes me Fish's input in the studio was as influencial on thevstage too. Live they went from being northern brats to proper showmen in the space of 3mths

@@JuanMITW1 not particularly. You should read up on the song's creation, more specifically the rhythm and music behind it; it was unintentionally inspired and done by a previous Evanescence song. They included her in credits after realizing the mistake and Amy was cool with it, even did the other collab with them that's in the beginning here. This would be great with their vocals together along with their musical talents intertwined. It's not disrespectful to cover a song that's already partly hers, and other musicians do that all the time with different collaborators.
