Agree that corn flour is definitely not used in batata wada. Aso she forgot to add the baking powder as she did not mention that when preparing the batter
Shivang mittal I am not disrespecting your opinion. baking soda and cornflour have different properties. Also you can have food without soda. That won't affect the taste. But adding something different will have different taste. And I don't understand one thing people cry so much regarding indian method of preparation, but always enjoy pizza/burgers prepared with bread which contains yeast, and other stuff not good for health. So I would always encourage indian method of preparation for Indian recipes. Create your own variations, but please maintain the authenticity of our food.
