Jump pads, snow cannons, and wall-mounted flood lights can have their angles adjusted. If you recall you had to click twice to place the jump pads and snow cannons. The first click locks the position of the hologram and puts you into the angle adjustment. Use the scroll wheel to adjust the angle. Clicking the second time builds the object at the angle you chose. The snow dispenser can be fully hidden in foundations. Simply place a temporary layer of foundations, place down the desired amount of snow dispenser and place your permanent foundations.
1:06:46 A little trick to "see even more" that works perfect with your looparound belt is to place a splitter just before they dissapear downstairs with the lift. Place a merger in front of the first assembler to match its brothers. Then have the splitter feed into that merger. Now, on average, every bundle does two laps before going downstairs, thus doubling the "business" on the belt 1:12:25 you mean the factory cart? Check the toolshed.
Sorry for the late comment amd watch, but what an awesome episode!! So jam-packed with new things, Ficsmas decorations, factory expansions and all the laughs a GramGrendy video should have 😂 I can not wait to see you play around more with the jump pads and to find out how to make that little ficsit cart too xD I'm pretty sure you'd find it if you search for it in the building menu. Anyways, can't wait for the next episodes and all the future shenanigrams 😂 Much love, Quack 💜
How are you ever going to get into the (what was it again, sjoot! 😂), ehh... 0.2%(?) Quack? 😂 Oh boy, you have no idea on what idea I am sitting on. Soon I will start my biggest project ever 😊 Much love from grandma Wendy 💖
@GramGrendy XD oh goodness well I might not become your top viewer until I've gone back and watched all of your videos you've ever made 😂 I'll watch everything from here on out but don't think I'll have time to go and watch every video before the grounded series. A bigger idea than the 18 hr day!? 👀 surely not 😅😆 that would be crazyyyy! But whatever it is I'm very excited to see whaton earth could be such a massive task 👀 Much love, Quack 💜
Putting a big power plant on the (north) spire coast is a great idea. You can extend a platform north over the water quite far… plenty of space to sprawl! If you haven’t got it yet, get the Compacted Coal and Turbofuel recipes out of the Sulfur branch in the MAM. (These require unscanned hard drives). Turbo fuel will extend those 80 generators to over 200 (which you will eventually need!) Turbofuel is also best jetpack fuel.
Exactly what I thought and I have found 2 pure oil nodes which I want to fully overclock. Do I use the turbo fuel or shall I use my Heavy Oil alternative recipe like I was planning to do - I don't know which one is better? Much love from grandma Wendy 💖
@GramGrendy the ideal sequence is to use Heavy Oil Residue on the crude. (Do whatever with the resin byproduct.. sink it or use it). Then use Diluted Packaged Fuel to greatly extend your fuel yield. Immediately unpackage the fuel (and recycle the empty cannisters back to the dilution step. If you have the compacted coal and turbofuel unlocked in MAM, do that to the fuel. (Fuel burns 20/min in the generator; Turbofuel only burns 7.5/min for the same power output. So turbo is like a 2.7 multiplier.)
9:48 you can oversaturate the concrete paintcolours. The slider only goes from -1 to 1 but you can click the box and type higher values to truely get saturated paint on your concrete for truely white, black or coloured foundations
@GramGrendy I didn't realize this was a thing until I read the comment since most game devs lock the values or just make the entire color selection range available. Here is what I got from my testing. For white set the saturation (middle) to zero and set the brightness (bottom) to 6 by typing it in. You can go higher but it all looks the same at and above 6. Technically you can stop at 5 for the top of foundations, but the sides of foundations require 6. Concrete walls seem to either not be or have a very slight change from the default values.
A good engineer is never without their coffee cup! (If not fighting enemies, or ziplining, we keep our coffee cups in hand! (It does nothing in game… it’s just “cool”.)
Well I got 2 now, I will never be without.. all I need is a nice biscuit that doesn't drown and "floops" in my coffee (yuck)😂 Much love from grandma Wendy 💖
@GramGrendy Might I suggest you keep it equipped and try clicking immediately after swapping to it. You have not seen the funny animation yet. It also does not happen every time so it might take a few times to get it to happen.
True, I have a couple fake splitters glued to my ceiling that arent actually connected to the four belts that seem to be going in and out of them 😅 they are just there pretending to be belt-crossroads You can even fully overlap belts making them seem like sushi-belts without truely mixing anything, as long as the starting/exit points are at least half a meter staggered in front of eachother 😂 If they dont actually connect, there is zero interaction between crossing or overlapping belts

Using these, 600 crude will yield 1600 fuel (80 generators /20,000MW), or 1333.33 turbofuel (177 generators / 44000 MW !!)
The factory cart needs to be built in the equipment workshop.
.... of course. Why would anyone look under vehicles! 😏
Thank you 🌹

Clipping does not affect how belts work. Clipping is purely an aesthetic issue (and up on the ceiling? Who cares!)
