I can't begin to imagine what his bills are. Yeah, he has to be rich from this channel and his bmx career but medical bills are ludicrous nowadays
He’s right about getting that spark back. I’ve got a frame and some older/newer parts I was able to get and once I find time to get it together I’ll be all over it again. Been off the bike about a steady 2 years now. The frame I’m riding and most of the parts are from 2009 or older. Still holds up. But I live a very busy life with my son, and work but riding will always be apart of me. Grew up doing it since I was 13 and the passion or tattoos related to this thing will never go away. The bike looks sick Scott!
Ok first off the new bike is sick as hell. The chrome looks so damn tight. It's not as flashy as the jet fuel but it just oozes class. Second, where tf has Bergler been? I saw him on one of Jay Dalton's recent vids is he still touring like a madman? And lastly I'd love to see a few educational videos of BK showing us how to build up our bikes, tips and tricks for maintenance, what tools to use, the pros and cons of different parts, how to cut weight off your bike, ect. I feel like that man has a lot of knowledge that could help out newbie riders like me with taking care of and customizing our bikes
I would love to ask BK what needs to be replaced on a purple mirra from around 06-08 that I bought for $20 off a kid in his late teens that he hardly ever rode because it was so heavy for an 8yo kid and he spent more time being a wood pusher
@@AitchT. well I know that at least the rear rim is the wrong one because it apparently had no rim linner in it and was always blowing tubes and it has a cheap knobby rear tire and my 11 year old rides it constantly because purple is his favorite color and grips are pretty beat

with Scotty spending about 2/3 of the year in Florida and only 1/3 in NJ, I don't see those plan coming to fruition anytime soon. Plus he's always busy with X-Games, Vans Cups and so on. I asked the same question when Scotty returned from Florida earlier this year, and somone replied that they had problems getting a permission for a skatepark on behind the shop or something like that. But I would love an "official" reply on the subject, too. Sadly the guys never reply on TH-cam. Hardly even on insta.

I rode a JMC frame & titan ti lite back in the day , the JMC frame was made from the bars that hold wings up on small planes , oval in shape & the titan was all titanium

not trying to be an ahole, but that punch he used definitely hits the inner race if used at an angle. not that the bearings can't take it.. but i never re-use bearings just because of the usually destructive nature of taking them out. Some frames don't even let you access the outer race thanks to a raised bearing seat. with the risk of taking them out again i'll gladly replace them.
Can you guys do a how to install brake cables with good tension and not one side sticking or.grabbing and also how to install/ adjust shifting cables /derailers for mtn.bikes

i'm trying to build my bike up black with hot pink accent pieces and am having trouble finding rims for it. I do see you have hot pink rims hanging in the back workshop and want to know if they are for sale?
Investment casting is when a model of a part is made from wax. Investment, a powder substance, is mixed with water to make a mold around the wax part. When the investment cures the wax is burned out. Molten aluminum is then poured in the mold thus making an investment casted part. What BK described is essentially butt welding.
¸1 thing, that works BUT if you rly want to get a bearing out without damaging it you use a socket , since you use us sizes i dont know wich one to se but yeah... if you use a punch and it hits the inner race there is a good chance of denting the walls of the outer race , it will explode if you rly hit it hard, but, even if you dont hit it hard but you graze it it might make the bb notchy. you could also use a smaller punch and then it cant hit the inner race at all

Reminds me of the Blue Max and the Black Max we had when I was a kid. I never thought about trying to mess with old bikes as a hobby.

The "body" of the bearing is called a race. The outer race. And the other inner part is the inner race.
