CT has both pry and sec windings,.pry windings connected to the line through which current is measured and seconadry winding with higher nmber of turns is connected across the Ammeter

Actually It is the ratio of total flowing current In line to the current measured by am- meter . We r not able to measure heavy current direct to meter so we need to reduce the measuring current .

pt mesurment kerne ke liye hv/lv ya primary vol./secondary vol.or dono ka rude 3 kerte hai.for example hv voltage 33kv hai or lv secondary vol.110 volt hai to ise bhi 110/rude 3 calculate kerte hai.taki mesuring intrument per low voltage 110 volt mile .33000 /√3 or 110√3 iska ratio 300 ka ho jayega .volmiter ki mesuring range 0 se 600volt hoti hai.or bahut jankari hai agar koi janna chahe to me omsingh meena tyar hu.thanks

according to equation of power Voltage is inversely proportional to the Current. So if you increase the level of voltage then Current will decrease. (P=VI)

what is the other use of CT & PT. ( It is use for protection & Measurement ? )
Actually in substation it is use for both protection and measurement.
As per theorytical knowledge it will said that it use for protection.
But in practical cases it give a overvoltage protection to isoleter, CB & transformer.
