I also really dislike seeing concerts and nights out on vlogs unless it's really brief or the person is interacting with the camera, so I really liked the brief footage you put in. It was enough to give me an idea of what was going on.

Jess I'd like to know the theories you're reading. I'm also an English Literature major and I've taken a general critical theory course, a course on race theory and I'm currently taking Queer theory. I personally love applying theory to the novels I read (even the ones I read in my free time)!
now that i have started university and can finally relate to all of the comments that say you motivated them to study! you really do do that! loving the vlogs jess
Loads of booktubers do bookshelf tours showing each individual book, which I would love love love to see! But you know, since these videos are usually quite long and a bit boring if you're not into books, maybe upload it on the vlog channel :p I also love tags as way to talk about books other than those you just finished reading, some of my favourites are the seasonal ones (autumn book tag), the britney spears book tag (yup it's a thing) and the reading habits tag!
I like that you are putting more days in one video, so the videos are longer 😍 Also it's really cool that now you live in London you are able to attend more TH-cam events :)

Can you please tell us more about the critical works you're reading? I myself am a postgrad student of cultural studies in a different country, and it could prove really useful to see what theories are recommended in other universities

Im also doing my M.A. in English Literature and one of my courses is Contemporary World Literature ... right now we finished reading 3 Daughters of Eve by Elif Shafak and A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini and they have become one of my favorite books!
unfortunately my other courses are kinda boring ( applied linguistics and research methodology) and there is this one course called Literature in English and we took My Father's Tears by John Updike and its just terrible :P
our next literary text we will tackle is Topgirls by Caryl Churchill ... lets hope its not boring :P
