I've seen many of these videos all promoting this add-on, I think it would be even more helpful to actually see someone using it instead of just paid promo
It isn't a paid promo, and the clips in the video are all mine ✨, i tested it for a week and i thought to make a video on it! I got the addon for testing purposes and i asked him if he is ok if I upload a video about it, and he said why not. It is a good addon if you are using daz 3d gen 9 characters!
@@extra3d537ah ok. but does the add-on allow you to export the new skin and changes back to Daz or CC4? My workflow is daz to character Creator to unreal. Which is a typical workflow. I've been wondering if this add-on would help as most Daz characters have plastic skin so i wind up spending a ton of time in CC4 trying to give it realism

If you use daz 3d gen 9 characters in blender, than it is worth it or if you just want to create high quality human renders ✨
@@extra3d537 say you sculpt a head, how does the plugin know where the eyes, nose and mouth are? do you have to set that up or something?
There are guides to convert your mesh to gen 9 characters, you should watch those and after that it will be easy ✨

Only works with daz models which means you to wrap other meshes. Say goodbye to whatever rig you had.

I just did this, but for some reason the material for the head is wrapping around te entire body when i do so. Yes, i imported the models through the bridge.
Are you using gen 8 or 9, because i also did the same mistake for the first time by importing the gen 8 model, it works for gen 9 only ✨

or you can replace G9's textures with your own in the shader to match your model. I have the addon but by default (using genesis 9
) I don't see that any normal or high map is set so I have the model without details, I had to set it by hand which is the same as building the shader on my own.
Is obj scale set to 1?, Or are you using daz bridge?
this addon did not work for me, eve on s a simple mesh....i think it requires daz or scam...not sure

Yea this is a lie to sell the addon its heavy and has bad performance
Gave good results to me on my bad laptop (I have a spare laptop which I use sometimes for testing which has i5 6th gen with intel hd 520 igpu, the addon works fine with that)
