when they nerfed TD's camo after firing they left this alone because its a premium, so its even more OP than the numbers will say

Ironically, one of the most underpowered T8 premiums, the Super Pershing, is responsible for this. When they tried to nerf the SPershing, they were threatened with lawsuits because they were essentially detracting from a product that players had already purchased. So, now premiums are basically immune to every kind of nerf, vehicle-specific or game-side...
@@Gibby34340 There is more than one way to effectively nerf a premium after the fact.. Like i.e changing the MM to put certain tanks preferred into battle as bottom tier. See, not a nerf of the tank per se, but against Tier IX the E25 starts showing diminishing returns ;) Preferential matchmaking was a thing in the past and I am sure that the algorithm easily can go both ways...
it's even better as they have nerfed a few premiums after claiming they can't do so because it's a premium.
First time I came across one of these I was in my Pz Iv H. Had no idea what was going on as the E25 ran rings around me faster than I could traverse turret + tank. Absurd little thing.
I find pretty funny people still plays this game. With all that P2W it makes no sense unless you are a whale. Here just for Jingles comentary, these tanks reminds me of the right choice i took years ago of never playing again.
@@CommanderTato Yeah I stopped a few years ago, realised I wasn't enjoying it, and it was frustrating and annoying.
I have been playing recently because of the yearly rewards (premium and etc) and believe it or not, in one single game that I played as a KV-4 there was a total of 2 tech tree tanks, and that was me, obviously, and another teammate of mine, who noticed this and it is complete ridiculous, just beyond belief

Yeah, I remember when they first announced that it would be removed from the shop because players were complaining about it and then they had a 1 month long "Get it while you can!" fire sale, causing them to flood every tier 5 to 9 battle.
Only they dont get in tier 9 games, because they have prefential matchmaking as well, which jingles failed to mention.
I actually quit the game for a bit when the E25 came out. Most of my tanks were tier 7 and it was just pain

You could nerf this things engine-power, lower its rate-of-fire (cramped crew compartment) and this little monster would still put an entire 2/3'rds of the opposing team to shame. Love it, hate it, we can all agree its OP and a nightmare to deal with in the right hands. Long-range/short-range spotting, sniping from close to far, this thing fits plenty of roles that anyone used to playing tank destroyers or light/scout tanks will love. If you're a heavy tank player and see this thing, sigh and prepare to eat 75mm like its on sale.
The worst thing about the E-25 is the low skill ceiling. If you have even a minimal grasp of camo mechanics, 100% crew camo skill, and a camo net, the thing can shoot in the open from 200-300 meters without being seen. And that's in T8 games: if you're top tier and facing mostly T5's and 6's, you can get even CLOSER without being spotted. The closest I've gotten to an enemy T5 in the open is about 150 meters, WHILE SHOOTING.
Can't nerf it though...its going to be chaos in wg community then as a lot of people had spent years playing with e25 and probably have max skills or close to it.
Imagine suddenly all premium tanks are nerfed....that's going to hit the sales in a very bad way, wg will start losing money lol

I like to think he rides it like a horse into battle while screaming orders at the tank.
My favorite thing about the E25 i the way they explode when I hit them with a KV-2 shell, and how that tends to panic any other E25s in the match.
Every single E25 I've ever landed a hit on with the KV-2 has gotten hilariously one-shotted, even after the HE nerfs. Good times.
Except when it just randomly doesn't pen and only does 300-400 damage... 😒
@@Gibby34340 If you're having trouble with HE on E25s, try hitting them square with AP. Since a E25's thickest armor is 50mm, a 152mm shell passes the overmatch threshold from basically any angle and usually folds them like a deck chair.
@@subtlewhatssubtle True, but by the time you get close to land a 152 mm in the same post code, you're already either dead to the E-25, or perma-tracked and basically dead anyway.
Plus, I haven't touched WoT in years, and never will again, but I heard they actually nerfed HE shells across the board. Like, WTF?
@@Gibby34340 They specifically nerfed the way HE behaves--blast cone instead of blast sphere at point of impact. Which is technically realistic, but unhelpful.
I admit most of my KV-2 time was spent in the most restrictive terrain possible, specifically to force would-be snipers and flankers to come and play down at my level. Turns out Cromwells also explode spectacularly when one-shotted by a KV-2.
@@Gibby34340 it's more of a rework, but it was bizzare either way.
-HE shells that do not penetrate do significantly less damage than before (although ones that get really close to penetrating but not quite pen still do about same damage as before); KV-2 often does not even 200 to an M6, so RIP
-HE splash on non-arty is gone (No splashing beneath tanks for good damage) except for shooting buildings
-HE can penetrate though certain surfaces, like screens and fences
-HE will not do damage to most spaced armor, like gun mantlets or tracks; straightup does 0
for any low pen but high caliber HE, the changes were huge nerfs, but for ones like FV4005, Cent 7/1, Charioteer (HESH rounds) it was kinda neutral
either way the rework stinked overall

I think that VK 30.01 H might be a bot, judging by the way the turret scans back and forth at seemingly nothing. That was definite bot behaviour back in the day at least and to my knowledge, still is.
One could make the argument that the M10 RBFM was trying to help him out, by shaving some of the health off of the T-150, and was slow to fire. Either way, I am glad that he got the Pool's Medal, and it even looks like he had to "earn" it there at the end. GG!
Or maybe M10 waited for the bounce to shoot? But I think this was too early for that.

I hated this tank, until I got one myself. Light tank view range and mobility, 26% stationary camo when firing, and tier 9 DPM. The only downside is the 150 mm pen. But it has cheap premium rounds, and it's a premium, so you can spend more money per battle.

This tank actually has identical camo rating to the Type 64 WHEN MOVING, and remember that Type 64 has the class based bonus.
Yes, and it has spotting to match! The camo, speed, and spotting make this a light tank on a TD chassis. Truly when you have this thing scurrying around "like a cockroach", it's an annoying bugger at best and a real pest at worst!! I got mine the very first day they ever went on sale. LOVE IT!! Even when facing it in a slower heavy tank, I still love it! Either it will be driven by a good player and therefore a real challenge, or it's driven by a Muppet who paid money in an attempt to gain skill, and I just own him. The key to defeating it in close combat is it has no turret. Let it get on your side, and keep him close so he can't turn on you. Then let your buddies kill him, or scrape him off on a rock or house or another tank. And he is short, so if you are tall enough drive over him and squish him like the cockroach he is, lols. Big guns with decent HE pen can always wreck them, IF you can hit them... lols.
They have added the E-25 to the christmas calander once or twice ,I cant remember the year they added it, I Brought mine when it was a tech tree gold purchase ,
You can get the reload down to just over 2 seconds with Skills and mods .
Before nerf the e25 camo was so good. On Karelia encounter, I capped in front of enemies in open cap. All I needed was a tiny bush to sit in, and enemy never suspected.
i found getting the reload down that fast, ends up leaving the aim time longer than the reload. Balance the gun so the reload is slightly under the aim time and you have a perfectly balanced cannon. don't call it a gun, Cannons are for killing and guns are for fun. Play with your gun, and fire your cannon. ;) SPG players know exactly what i mean.

nah, the most fitting name ever was the doomturtle, back in the old days, when you could openly cross malinowka in it without dying (unless you got oneshot by a 2400 alpha dmg arty shell). but even now i think the trashbarn/shitbarn, deathstar, bathtub, toaster and ferrari are better fitting nick names.

However, do you remember that when it did come out, it only had 36 rounds of ammo? The ONLY balancing factor for it.
I've been playing WoT for 12 years now, and I have around 2000 battles in this little bugger. It is a little over powered tier for tier, but when jingles talked about how the armor holds up because of the angles is giving this tank too much credit. I have never struggled penatrating an e25 or experienced much bouncing while playing an e25.
I have seen these things bounce SU rounds often enough. Once watched one as my platoon mate pop out, get tracked by a 105 HE round, and bounce the following 9 gold and AP rounds from waiting TD's, lights, and mediums while he waited for his track to repair (before they were reusable), he took less than 30 damage the entire match and got 8 kills and assist and spotting on every other enemy tank on the team. He kicked himself for running into too obvious a bush where the VK knew he would go, but complained he ONLY bounced 1k and not more.

About a decade ago I got a 9 kill game in my Hetzer that I was shaking in excitement about and this reminded me of that. But tier 4 tanks don't get fancy medals.
Reminds me of how excited I was about the addition of barrel victory marks that wouls never be on my matilda or hetzer because rank 4s can't have nice things
The E25 is unspottable and can bounce almost any shot unless I'm driving it.
Fun fact. The e-25 is one of the reasons why I stopped playing this game. (After having to little time and best friends no longer playing)
The salt collecting in my veins everytime I was killed by this tank was not good for my health.
Now I just watch Jingles laughing/crying about WG and their antics.

On my E25, I have Bros in Arms, camo, Both view range skill, the module damage skill, the fire on the move and when rotating skills and the ground resistance skill. Equipment, I have Bond Vents and Bond Optics and Bounty exhaust. I have roughly 64% cammo when stationary, 69.8% if I'm using cammo nets and 42.6% cammo when moving, 3.1k DPM( 2.6 second loading time ), 0.25 accuracy, 452m view range. And before anyone calls me a gold noob, my ammo loadout is 40 regular and 20 gold.
This thing is disgusting and amazing at the same time.
Wargaming's put the E-25 back on sale since its "removal" more than just twice, Jingles. They sell it at least once a year, twice in years where it gets a day in the Advent Calendar. Along with sometimes being in lootboxes.
Also, while the sloped hull can indeed cause troll bounces, a bigger problem when you're shooting at the E-25 is it's just so small. If you're shooting at it from mid to long range, even a perfectly aimed shot is RNG-dependent, because your aiming circle will be quite a bit bigger than the E-25 itself.
Also, TDs used to have a smaller camo penalty upon firing than other classes. When Wargaming took that bonus away, existing premiums (like the E-25 and the SU-122-44) were as usual exempted from the nerf.
Haven't played WOT for years, but I can remember that feeling of dread plodding around in my Kv-2 with one of these little monsters on the enemy team list.

3 marked this years ago when I was still playing WoT. Maxed out the camo and view rage with every possible equipment and consumable. 7 skill crew. Played as a scout/sniper in early part of the game, then as a "kill the wounded who are left" later in the game. Loved this machine. I'd love to see what you can do with the new equipment options and Bonds gear. :D

There's almost nothing more enjoyable to me in WoT than scooting around big tanks and chewing them to pieces.

WG's entire business model is about creating artificial scarcity to drive prices up so you don't even notice that you're paying effectively the same price as a brand new triple A game title for a fucking tank.

most times I see E25 in the battles, they don't do nearly as well, so it's more than just "slightly above average"

Ackchyually the E-25 has the same gun as the StuG III G, not the StuG IV. Same damage, same penetration values and same velocity. Just better dispersion and gun handling.

@@tameexpectations8828 A long long time ago, in a galaxy far far away (no, not Shrek), TDs used to keep cammo after firing. It was deemed unfair and removed, but WG couldn’t change a prem tank without refunds, so the E25 retains the old cammo benefit.
@@rgomez6660 i believe the su-122-44 and jagtiger 8.8 still have the camo bonus while firing too.
Other than that not being true for quite some time now, while it does keep a large amount of camo when firing the old mechanic has been gone from the e25 and su-122/54 for some time now - it's camo when moving is close to 54% and when firing is around 20%

This tank was one of the reasons i quit wot, it shows the wg isn't out to cultivate a community with a good game, they just want your money and don't care about their game.

I didn't get the E-25 until my 5th year playing (I'm on Console). I regret not getting it earlier - it's a MONSTER. It took me, I believe, around 4.5k combined damage on the Artic Region map just to Ace it - and that was nearly my 100th game played in the tank. It's simply an incredible vehicle.

I burned out completely on this game when this thing was a marathon reward. Then wg put it on sale again despite promising that the marathon was the last chance to ever get it. Oh how naive i was.

While this thing is definatly OP, the armor is no where near as good as the mighty gnome was saying it is, it can have some miracle bounces but most the time anything it faces can and will pen it 8 or 9 out of 10 times. When it first came out however yeah the armor was stupid good.
When it first came out the slope was even tighter, meaning if you didn't get the perfect angle against it, almost nothing could get through and everything would bounce but arty.

E25 is like the Spanish Inquisition. It’s primary weapon is fear, fear and stealth. It’s 2 primary weapons are fear, stealth and rate of fire….
But mainly the fear. Honestly, it’s a very situational tank. This was a good game for him because his teammates held their ground and lured enemy tanks in, and he was able to finish a lot off. Most of the time though, it’s not OP if you know how to deal with it.
I hope it's not too cliche that your commentary reminds me of David Attenborough's, but it does. That's not a bad thing. Loved the video.
The E25 has a number of factors which are broken. The dpm however is actually reasonable considering it is a tier 7 which will see tier 8's often. The issue is that other factors are what make it broken against same and lower tier vehicles.

1. Size Matters: The model is 2/3rd's of the size that it should be, the E25 program was meant to replace the Stug III, and it was supposed to a similar size. Due to the size of the model its 'effective' camouflage is even higher due to how spotting works when behind cover. Even if it gets spotted, its model being smaller than it should be means its even harder to hit at normal combat ranges, similar to the ELC EVEN 90 or the LTG.
2. Mobility: the turn speed of the E25 is frankly absurd, high top speed and generally good mobility would be fine, but Wargaming gave it hover technology, so it turns almost instantly.
3. Grandfather Clause: When they reduced the camo granted to TD's after firing the E25's post-fire camo was not reduced.

There are ways to fix it which do not require nerfing its dpm, but Wargaming isn't smart enough to do any actual balancing unless its a tech tree vehicle and it isn't Russian.
Last 30 battles in this tank all tier8 battles. With always one or more enemy Skoda t56 heavies. The life of a prefential matchmaking tank in 2021/2022.

I remember my first encounter ... I was in my TOG ... there were 3 of them plus an opportunistic other light .... The Abbey map on the river road .... I got off one shot, which missed ... them they swarmed me ... sticking their gun barrels in like so many mosquitos 🦟 I was gone in far less than 30 seconds ... who knew that 🪳 cockroaches were bloodsuckers?
I envy his RNG at the end. Yesterday I bounced and missed 4 shots of a IS who stood still. Later during the same game I was about to destroy the last enemy with my last shell, but I had an abysmal damage roll and he lived with 14 hp.
seems like the stupider you play a tank, the more likely the enemy is going to miss his shot. This is the War Gaming way.
Mine just showed up randomly in my garage. Did some missions I wasn't paying attention to. They gave it away as well.
I saw this thing on sale in the last few weeks again.
I once encountered an E-25 at the end of game on Sacred Valley in my Hellcat. He was the last tank alive so I went in for the ram coming downhill at full throttle but instead of a mutual slaying I ramped off his frontal armor and come to a stop parked right atop him. Before I could crush him he managed to rock back and forth causing me to slide off and then killed me before I could react.
Thank you, dogshit "crushing" mechanics. For some reason, being on TOP of another tank somehow damages your own...
One of my best tankgasms was when i snuck on a E-25 with my T-29 and proceeded to tech him that if i wanted to be on top of him, i will be on top of him.
... That was, ofc, when wot was still fun.

First time I saw the E25, it was a toon of 3 of them on Prok. They wiped out my entire team in under 4 minutes.
When you auto-aim at it from the front, the gun mantlet is very close to the center of the vehicle and it’s a very troll mantlet, so it ends up bouncing rounds that it has no right to be bouncing

Gosh the VK3001H really used to be a fun medium tank years ago. Then WG made it a heavy tank along with some other mid tier German tanks for some reason and reverted it back to a medium lmao
I quit playing when they first removed this and they had a week long grind where you had to live on the server. I missed out by another hour of playtime(est) or some bullshit. Realized what a complete waste of time the entire game was and never looked back. Still enjoy the tank video's after I cut my teeth on your og tutorials, lol. Good times, cheers bud.

I don't play WoT anymore, but you used to be able to wreck the E-25 with HE. That's probably the real reason it got nerfed. HE was killing their instant cash cow!
This tank was the reason I ran DERP GUNS with HE. loads at least the splash would get them. RIP HIGH Explosive.
Morning Minor Jangles
I heard somewhere of a German tanker that complained that he had the fastest tank on the front but spent half the war moving in convoy with horse drawn vehicles. At 4 miles per hour. Apparently command in his unit had no grasp of logistics. I'm not sure what tank it was.
Remember what a little beast the Chaffee once was, They nerfed it to kingdom come, the T-50-2, a speed freak, But the E-25 got both their traits, plus stealth, and is a-ok. at least buff the light tanks back to what they once were then. (powercrept anyway).
The E-25 is a textbook case of WG paper tank being overpowered. Jingles even left out another thing that makes the thing so sneaky. The team at Wargaming responsible for modeling the thing messed it up and made it smaller than it actually was but Wargaming will never nerf a premium.

The artificial scarcity thing made me realize... The E25 is the McRib or Pumpkin Spice of WoT.
