Is Powertex some sort of clay slip? This is the first time I've heard of it.

Hi Powertex universal medium is a thick liquid type medium, that is mainly used as a fabric hardener, and can also be used as a glue or paint. It can be mixed with other Powertex products to make an air drying clay or a texture / crackle paste.
