Mdf Hatter hat and Powertex - time-lapse video
This is a time lapse video of me decorating an mdf wall plaque in the shape of a mad hatters hat with an Alice in Wonderland theme. I used Powertex universal medium, clay and resin embellishments and fabric scraps.

Dandelion head/ dandelion clock, close up pictures

This morning on my dog walk I took some close up photos of a dandelion clock /puff 💮 and recorded my phone screen as I was looking through them. Thought I'd share as it's amazing seeing all the details close up. 😍 Please excuse the notification pop up part way through 😊 Not bad pics considering I only used my phone.

Is Powertex some sort of clay slip? This is the first time I've heard of it.
Hi Powertex universal medium is a thick liquid type medium, that is mainly used as a fabric hardener, and can also be used as a glue or paint. It can be mixed with other Powertex products to make an air drying clay or a texture / crackle paste. What resin is this I like that comes in bigger bottle
This one is Polycraft SG2000 - 2kg Fast Cast Resin. I got it from Ebay but there are different companies that sell it and its available in different quantities, bigger and smaller bottles. 😊
Amazing. But the resin you use, do you need a respirator for this type of resin?
No I don't use a respirator, but I do have my windows open.

@@bobbyneal2498 not that I notice. But please follow your own safety procedures, as you see fit.
I have since invested in a respirator and goggles and wear them when using and sanding resin. Always best to stay safe 😊
