Do you know if there is a difference in the distance from the back of the mezzanine seat to the rear seat floor space on a 239 Ultra SE vs a 255 Ultra with a mazzanine seat? We fish all the time and am trying to decide to buy a 239 or 255. I would prefer a 239 because it would be easier to tow and move with a trolling motor but I need the rear cockpit space the most.
@@myvalium1 Going from the 4 cylinders to 6 cylinders obviously gives you a good bit of difference. For pure top end, the 27 w 250’s can hit 60, conditions depending and light on gear/fuel. With 200’s, it’s roughly 10mph less. Still a good ride and good cruising! But you definitely feel a difference. And with the new electric steering, it doesn’t suffer in handling at all, as long as the captain genuinely knows how to run the boat
@@1SalazarJay the new reconfigured 27’s, 28’s, and 30’s are a little heavier from larger fuel capacities, larger hardtops, rear hardtop framing, etc. and the 25 GF has twins as opposed to the 255 having a single and a little less capacity. Just small differences in each but they’re both great models for their purpose in their own right.
Question, why do these manufactures insist on surrounding the leaning post with all this peripheral unnecessary stuff, ( i.e. counter top, sink, phone charger, cabinet w/plastic cup holders and tumblers and to top it all off we have a bench seat w/a back rest running the full with of the the boat. The end result, for all practical purposes, you have eliminated the working aft deck of this boat and substituted it for entertainment center and because of it there is no room to work one fish let alone multiples.
@@roysmith8002 I appreciate the question! I assume you’re talking about the Ultra. For the fisherman, that model will definitely not be the optimal option. But there’s a boat for every boater. We’ve had great response to the ultra and many folks who don’t fish at all love that boat and buy it. While the fisherman goes for the gamefish that is much more suited towards their needs. The Ultra is more suited towards the cruising family, or someone who is getting out of a dual console and bow rider, and wants to go to a center console.
Is this his personal boat? He keeps saying "my this and that" or is he selling it? I cloud not focus on the video's objective. Also to much camera time on himself. I want to see boats and learn about pricing!
@@blazzy24 not my personal boat, just one I have in stock at the dealership. And I will take that into account! I offer a lot of explanation just based on what questions I get asked day to day. Anything in particular you’d like to see?
Good tour. Would prefer to see MSRP pricing on each model. Thanks
Do one on the Escape 27 vs 28 please
When I get both of those models, I sure will!

What’s performance gain of 250’s vs 200’s on the 275 Ultra? Also, does the handling suffer in any way with the increased power ?

@ thank you for a perfect explanation.
What's the lead time on a GF25?
@@ABSeaTravel I could get you one in 90-120 days. Right now if I ordered it, it would be mid September. Or, I have some in stock I can send you
Why are the Ultras so much lighter regarding gross weight compared to the GF? Thanks
