@@philOKC two different builds quite frankly that you listed there. I don’t have personal experience on the reef runner on the water, but have seen the ins and outs at boat shows. If you’re looking for good resale though, sea hunt is definitely it.

@@yuniismail165 we got it to early to mid 70’s with light load, good conditions, etc. Could possibly get more? The fountain hull runs good, accelerates quick.

@@TK-ol6hj have you been on a new Sea Hunt before? I can assure they’re not cheap built. High end boat, no, but surely not cheap built. The Gamefish has a freshwater wash down for handwashing, but the Ultra model can have a traditional sink. I invite you out to meet me on a boat and I’ll personally walk you through it and show you how great Sea Hunt is!

@@myvalium1 Going from the 4 cylinders to 6 cylinders obviously gives you a good bit of difference. For pure top end, the 27 w 250’s can hit 60, conditions depending and light on gear/fuel. With 200’s, it’s roughly 10mph less. Still a good ride and good cruising! But you definitely feel a difference. And with the new electric steering, it doesn’t suffer in handling at all, as long as the captain genuinely knows how to run the boat

@@roysmith8002 I appreciate the question! I assume you’re talking about the Ultra. For the fisherman, that model will definitely not be the optimal option. But there’s a boat for every boater. We’ve had great response to the ultra and many folks who don’t fish at all love that boat and buy it. While the fisherman goes for the gamefish that is much more suited towards their needs. The Ultra is more suited towards the cruising family, or someone who is getting out of a dual console and bow rider, and wants to go to a center console.

@@1SalazarJay the new reconfigured 27’s, 28’s, and 30’s are a little heavier from larger fuel capacities, larger hardtops, rear hardtop framing, etc. and the 25 GF has twins as opposed to the 255 having a single and a little less capacity. Just small differences in each but they’re both great models for their purpose in their own right.

@@stans1058 For some, off white might be better, but many manufacturers still do all white! You can always choose different interior colors. These livewells recirculate and the transom one has rounded corners just for that reason. And the hardware is great. I have not seen a hatch ever pop open on a seahunt, unless it was improperly closed. I invite you to come see on in person, I’ll walk you through all these points!

They do have a large rounded front, kind of like a Mitzi skiff if you would. The hull is its own design though, but I understand where you’re pulling your thoughts from. On the water and off they’re pretty boats, and have a solid feeling ride, not bouncy like some other brands

@@DamianVelasco1500 too bad. Having one engine saves $$ on insurance and maintenance and is less cluttered. Today’s engines typically don’t break unless you have bad gas’s or a dead battery

Llebroc chairs cost much more than these, and these are great quality. If you’d like Llebrocs, you can always switch them out after purchase, or go with another boat brand that uses them standard.

Great deal you got! Happy for you. No kidding anyone here, cost of boat materials and labor warrant the cost of boats as a whole. And remember, that’s msrp, just the listing price. There’s other 25’s even that cost much more.

I have heard of folks saying they either do or don’t hold ice. Sea Hunt markets them as fish boxes, so I will too! I have owned a BX22 and my front box would hold ice for the day without much issue. I’ve also seen some folks add insulation as well. They won’t beat a Yeti, but do good. Either way, happy you’re in the Sea Hunt family. How is everything else with your boat?

My BX25 held ice for a day, it’s a fishbox not a yeti.

Owned a Cobia 296. THeir indeck fish boxes were not very insulated either.
