I think the most exciting reveal we got in version 1.2 is about The Order which was quite surprising and hidden inside an event, Which character or faction are you excited about the most?
I don't think that Big Daddy will be playable anytime soon. SoC already have four playable characters and Lighter will be the fifth, while all other factions so far only have four or less playable characters. People have been complaining about Soldier 11 having no final trust event for quite some time now, so before they give SoC yet another playable character they'd better release some Obol members first.
At the same time, once Yanagi and Harumasa drop we will have 8 Electric Agents before ever getting a 3rd Ether Agent... So balance may not be high on the list of priorities... Either that or Ether is meant to be rare in the lore...
It's worth noting that all 3 Vanquishers have doppelgangers when you fight them in VR missions which so far we've only seen used for Jane who is a playable character. All 3 of them to me have A rank designs and since the game is quite starved for A ranks they're likely saving them to sprinkle here and there as basically filler characters
Spacebar mentions a Captain, a Robot, and a Sniper in 'Roaming the Ether'. Each of those three being a very broad thing... but going 3 for 3 with the characters Soldier 11 talks about makes it seem more intentional. That combined with how well the lore from 'Roaming the Ether' lined up with a certain unconfirmed leak from a few months ago. It seems like Hoyo is in the early stages of foreshadowing / hinting at the Obol Squad content.
The spacebar information is new to me did not know about that is interesting & I knew about the Diamond Division after you beat the event and talk to Nicole you found out about it

A weapon doesn't imply a DPS role. Literally all characters in this game are armed. Harumasa has a voiceline that implies distaste for direct combat in the Hollow Zero tutorial, so its possible he'll be a supporter who likes to stay in the backlines. We already know Lighter wants an Attacker char for his second core, and buffs Ice and Fire dmg. If Myabi is in 1.4, it's possible she'll be Ice Attacker and synergize with him, or she's a Fire Attacker, meaning she and the Ellen rerun are the ones they want us to pull Lighter for. I don't see anything else happening, unless Miyabi is delayed even further.
The other divisions of the military were dissolved with the fall of the old capital. Obsidian Division is the only one left. The Order appears to be responsible for the creation of the hollow that killed Spacebar's comrades. SPOILERS: My speculation is that they are going to be the villain group that is introduced to be behind the "Sacrifice" monster. Who knows, maybe they'll eventually end up as the true culprits behind the hollow disaster, clearing the name of Phaethon's teacher.
What if the reason we don't know what role Miyabi is, because they're going to introduce a new role type entirely, and Miyabi will be the first of her type?
most interested in the possible anomaly ether of the idol faction. right now the game has just two ether characters of which one is no longer obtainable and the other is not a damage dealer...
There is leaks/spoilers so you can take this info with a grain of salt the idol squad roles been leaked the blonde is a ice support, the black haired girl is a physical stun with range abilities and the robot is a either but this could change and Pulrcha suppose to be going to the Cunning Hares so will see if this is going to be true or not
Pulchra as a mercenary joining the Hares which are notoriously broke all the time? How does this go together? Wouldn't she want to be paid well as a mercenary?
There are 2 future characters that are 'Must Summon' for me not for game play reasons, but because of personal bias. Miyabi coz cute fox samurai girl. Lucia. This might be just the Catholic in me talking, but I do love me some sexy nuns.
I think Ben carries around a pillar that is meant to hold up a building. Rina has some toys. But yes, the vast majority of characters have weapons and I see no reason to think Harumasa is an attack character.
Von Lycaon doesn't use a weapon, he fights with his legs. I mean you could argue that they are artificial and thus more of a weapon than natural legs, but I doubt that he got them only for attacking, so I'd rather think of them as an essential part of his body. If you're still not convinced, Billy and Qingyi are completely artificial and still use separate weapons which aren't built in.
