Thanks for your review. Clear and unbiased, imo. I have had our 22/23 01 for 2 weeks and absolutely love it. While there is no perfect car, this is as close as it will get, for me and my family. Sold a 2018 RAV4 to get this. Wanted a chargeable car, this phev will take to work in pure mode, even in winter. The 22/23 model has double laminated front side windows and is the quietest car I ever had. I prefer this interior to the XC40, with the bigger center screen, while its proprietary os is better than sensus (?), aaos would have been even better yet. Frank is not my friend while he/she works ok… your bad and good parts I otherwise agree with. A great car, but not perfect. I am still giving feedback in the co:lab section, not sure if it’s being reviewed or considered…. I think this car will carry us for a few years until the pure Ev market has matured more.
I think your review is spot on. I totally agree with the comment that the built in charger is laughably slow. Seriously - 4.25 h charging time for a max. 60 km of electric range?!! Another source of annoyance is their customer hotline, which for most people is the only way to interact with the company. Not terribly competent and quite unreliable. Compared to the Volvo XC40 IMHO the 01 has a much softer, more comfortable ride, despite the huge wheels. However the Volvo feels more compact, easier to manoever in city traffic. The 500€ car subscription is an incredible bargain if you are willing to focus on the 01’s qualities as a mechanical car and for the most part ignore the electronic features. (Except for the blind spot monitor which works very well and really increases safety)
I have a Lync and they have improved the charging cable. It takes 1:45 to charge it on a fast charger. And 2:30 on a normal charger. The 4:25 is when you charge it at home on the normal 230v. And the range is 75 km. Depending on how you drive ofcourse.
Finally, after 5 months I was waiting something new from you! That's a great summary. I have the car since last october and I completely agree with most of the negative. The boot up time can be speeded up by using a Guest User, it helps a lot. I never received a software update during these months. The car is not able to do OTA updates. Not even the dealership managed to update the car. Car Sharing still has to be activated, I think it's still in beta for some selected users and they keep pushing back every month or so, I don't believe them anymore at this point. The battery and range is good for a PHEV, but the charger is very slow. Most of the modern plug-in have much faster chargers, and 3.6 kwh is extremely slow and annoying for most of the people that charge away from home. Anyway, it feels a very good car overall, and I will keep the 01, because I really love the car despite all the hiccups. I'll just change when they will offer me an EV.
I have mine since a week. Love it so far, but there are some things that simply don't work: remote access and charging pod for the cellphone... Oh and the navigation is real garbage. It simply refuses to find major cities in Germany. Don't know what's its problem...
@@MMCC00 I did. But the charging pod loses connection frequently. Like all the time, so basically it doesn't get charged. I have my second lynk now and it has all the same flaws ( software and hardware). The seat heating should turn whenever I start the car but it doesn't (yes, I activated it).
For the hands free hatch I saw a video on youtube where you can open it with the key..same thing for the plug port. I don't understand what you mean by the pre-eating function? The car needs to be plugin to the electricity to have this function working? No problem of you charge at night right?
Handsfree hatch is when you kick under the hatch to open it (not using any hands). I seldom use the key since if I have a hand free I just push the button on the hatch. Yes it is no problem when you start from home with the pre-heating. But when you go on trips you can't use it. (This is different from Volvo PHEV & EV's as well as Polestar).

It's an good concept so will be interesting to follow! Thanks!
I believe I'm hearing wind noises from my lynk n Co at low speeds as well. It's like a whining/singing windy kind of noise. It's a bit annoying.

Yeah. They should have gone for google maps....
wireless charging needs to be toggled on in the settings. Must be under connectivity

@@Nobunagawa ah that’s unfortunate. Their software is so unreliable. Everytime you just pray carplay works
@@MMCC00 yes... Same with Android auto. I basically have to restart the car by getting out and in again 😅
I tried one and the only thing I didn’t like was the comfort of the seats , how is it on a long trip does it get better ? Thanks
Considering buying a 2022 01. Any improvements to the issues you are mentioning in the newer version? Tack : )
I think from August 2022 faster charging with 7.2kWh is also possible, so if I were you I would buy a newer model.
