My heart was in my throat watching you approach the edges of the cliffs and canyons. Beautiful photography. Just stunning. For years my little joke was that I always do my camping at the Hilton. Lol. Now I’m starting to think about boondocking. Maybe start with a week’s rental. I wonder if it’s possible to rent an Aliner. Thanks Slim. It’s nice to have a new dream. I wonder if I can intrest my Sweetie.
Oh my goodness!!! I'm late to the campfire, Slim, but wanted to let you know how valuable you are. You have the skills, heart, depth, wonder & know how to share what most of us are craving & are unable to pursue. WOW!!! This was majestic!! It had my heart thumping while you were getting that beyond beautiful shot of the gorge. Way to be BRAVE!! I so appreciate who you are & what you do. You have character, sir. Safe & extraordinary travels, Slim.
I was so nervous seeing what you were filming! It's petrifying to fear for your safety!!!! With that being said, that was the most stunning video I've ever seen! Good grief....the gorge walls, the color of that water, the sky at sunset ! Canada is so beautiful! Thankyou for this gorgeous video. Glad you are still alive!!! 😁
I have run out of words to describe how amazing your videos are! The stunning views that your eyes capture and the fascinating ingenuity of your "inventions" make your creations unsurpassed in beauty and interest. I can't think of a way to tell you how much i enjoy your work!!
Wow, just WoW! I so enjoy the sounds and sights of nature that you capture so well. Beautiful videography and narration. Thanks for inviting us along for the hikes and rides!
Oh, my, Mistaya Canyon is going on my "bucket list"! Wow,! Unfortunaterly, I probably won't be able to get off the beaten path but I think I'll still enjoy it. Thank you for sharing this with us, Slim. Truly awe inspiring.
Absolutely gorgeous! 😮...so incredibly beautiful-what shots!-and the color of the water!...beauty that money can’t buy...thanks for being there and sharing it
Thanks again. What an education for me. I am planning to tent or teardrop camp rather than Aliner, so thanks for waking up thenature loving adventurous Nordic side, and showing how good it is to take the risk.
Thank you for this beautiful video and for sharing some ingenious ideas. With the elevated risk factor, I'm glad your experience and abilities keep you safe. Safe travels, Slim . . .
Great video's Slim, especially nice to see the beauty of Lake Abraham were we briefly met, sad you had to move that night. Guess that's why I only recently returned, the beauty held me hostage. With my 2014 Aliner, still looking at installing the door vent, and now understand why the kid styro tubes help with sealing the unit. My head is now buzzing with idea's for the 'aliner', will keep you posted. Safe travels, wherever you go. Lisa
Hi Lisa, Good to hear from you! Glad you had a good long stay at Abraham Lake, sorry I wasn't there that long. Happy to hear my modifications have inspired you as well. Just got back from Wyoming, hopefully we will meet again in our travels. Happy Camping! Slim
excellent video..thanks for sharing...we are looking to fulltime in 4 years and plan on boondocking most of the time....as Canadians most don't even realize we can use free and clear...and it is usually the most beautiful ....have written down that spot in our book of places to boondock and enjoy in the future.....thanks again and happy camping
right sir mr. canadian, thank you wonce again for showing us europeans the beauty of north america, most of us dont have a chance to see it with or own eyes, but your camera eye keep us happy anyway
This one was outstanding! You do such a Good job! And I had a little adrenaline rush just watching you. Canada is so beautiful..it seems everything in Canada is bigger and more spectacular than America. The Rockies are Bigger!
Thanks Carol, I really appreciate that! I do try to avoid making videos that are only about "ME", and hopefully allow the viewer to experience what I see and learn instead. When I succeed I am happy!
Great vid, Slim!! Amazing! I just bought my first travel trailer. It's a Rockwood A-Frame, very similar to the Aliner. Maybe I'll see you on the road someday!
I've yet to go to Canada, after this beautiful video, I really cant wait to be able to. After the pandemic, which we all hope is over soon. You're great at the videography, scary watching you though.😖
Sorry but I absolutely detest drones! They are intrusive, noisy and seriously disrupt wildlife. I am so glad they are banned in many national parks and nature habitats.
Hi Annette, Thanks for your kind words. Yes, editing it the most challenging part of the videos I do, as ones like this are a combination of around 150 files plus tweaking the sound and image quality. Slows things down but I try my best! Slim
The Mistaya is absolutely gorgeous and amazing!
Great shots!
Thank You for showing us these wonders of this world of ours!
The color of that water is just unreal. Heck of a ten buck shot there, nice. Gorgeous images, thank you.

Wordsmith in you will wax lyrical, if you go to Tuktoyakyuk, NT, for the Summer Solstice - the land of the midnight sun.😎
You should come to New Hampshire beautiful country up north
Hey Slim, how about purchasing a video drone - your photography videos would be so awesome with that addition
Sorry but I absolutely detest drones! They are intrusive, noisy and seriously disrupt wildlife. I am so glad they are banned in many national parks and nature habitats.
Wow, amazing. That must have taken you ages to film and edit. Well worth it though.
Hi Annette, Thanks for your kind words. Yes, editing it the most challenging part of the videos I do, as ones like this are a combination of around 150 files plus tweaking the sound and image quality. Slows things down but I try my best! Slim
Well from my perspective it was well worth it.
Dude you make me so nervous!
Wow, that was beautiful! You may have out done yourself on this one. Excellent, ty. 😊👍
Thanks Susan. Better to outdo myself than do myself in! Staying off ledges for a little while!!!
A morel mushroom at 9:21. Excellent eating but that one looks a bit past the best before date.
