The caliber of actors on this show and GL through the last 20 years of their runs are unparalleled. Kelley Menighan-Hensley is one of those actors. ATWT was always must-see TV in those years. I miss it.
@ProstheticVagina Those shows are often watched more (and ATWT is no longer on), true--but Y&R has also had its share of riveting storylines that touch on the human condition. I was moved to tears when Victor confronted his father in the nursing home, the man who abandoned him and his mother during/after the war. Jack's storyline involving his mother and her dementia was also a touching and well-crafted, well-acted piece of drama. ATWT enjoyed a near-60 year run before it ended in 2010.
Very powerful scene. Do not know how Kelly Menighan did not need oxygen after this scene. Well supported by Ellen Dolan. Margo knew what she was feeling,having gone through it herself.
This is when I first came across Emily and Margo..right around this period..maybe just before the rape. The show kept them tied when Emily turned heel and pursued Tom..

Margo was so kind to Emily and Emily paid her back by sleeping with her husband and having a baby by him smh.
this is exactly what you should do to help victims of rape keep your distence but also be supportive & reassure them as much as possible
