@79oahu - That is a great question! We always walk past all the taxi drivers towards the end of the port and go straight to the end, where there is a sign with pricing right by the street. We always get a taxi/van from the vendors right there. This was the advice given to me on my first trip and we've used it every time! How do you know a “legitimate” cab driver and car when you see one? I’ve heard of people being scammed and getting into the wrong cars.
